Wonderful

We went to Panzur with my son and three grand daughters. They were serving a family style dinner with fried chicken, rice and roasted Brussels sprouts. The chicken was great, but the sprouts were the best I've ever eaten. Not sure how they were cooked but I'd love to have this recipe. Our... read more

Had dinner with another couple last night and we ordered the fried chicken special they are know for. Well overdone with no flavor. Came with an ok salad and a side and brownie. With a few drinks the bill was $180 without tip.Are you kidding me? Outrageous at $25 for each meal. I could have had scallops for this amount.... More

Chef Rei Peraza cooks up some wicked fare. Crispy pig ears, chorizo, local beets with goat cheese, and some crazy Spanish coco, a long flatbread topped with salty, savory, umami deliciousness. And the house cocktails are absurdly good. This bartender is the first I've ever been willing to call a "mixologist."

This was my second time there. Another great experience. So many interesting menu items. Great combinations of flavors and ingredients. Always fun specialty cocktails. Good service.

My first visit to Panzur was my last. Though the food was delicious, the servers were downright rude and annoyed that they had to deal with a large party (we had 10 at our table). Our entrees came out irregularly. The markup on the alcohol is nothing short of ridiculous. A double pour of Knob Creek cost me $34 before... More

Here is the exact description of what you ordered as it appears on the menu: "knob creek 9 yr single barrel 17" (clearly you stopped reading at 9 but that is not because we printed anything misleading) According to the Knob Creek website, that single barrel, small batch bottle retails $50 for a 750ml. This particular bottle is not available... More

From the jamon croquettas to the perfectly cooked rib eye steak for two, the food at Panzur was amazing. The pig belly was incredible. We've traveled a few times throughout Spain and we were delighted to discover that the cuisine at Panzer's measured up to some of the most delicious meals we had overseas. This is a special go to... Tivoli is an out of the way hidden hamlet in Dutchess County, NY near Bard College. We chose to eat there before going to a dance performance at Kaatsbaan. Our expectations were very high because Panzur is already rated #1, so we wondered if it would stand up to our scrutiny and tastes. The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES! Everything we... More

We were blown away by our meal here. The sunchoke soup was one of the best I've ever had. Especially loved all the ramps on the menu.

Way beyond the usual Hudson Valley fare, this is a place to go when you want to be surprised. Almost anything on the menu will taste better than you expect--the chef is a real pro mixing avant garde new Spanish (eg el Bulli) cuisine ideas with down to earth Hudson Valley staples and local fresh ingredients.
