Absolutely love the food here! Never had a bad meal. Prices are good, food is delicious and you get a beautiful view of Lake Champlain.

Finally stopped in after having driven past a hundred times. It might give one the impression of a roadhouse bar, but inside you'll find a pleasant country restaurant with friendly waitstaff and a very broad and interesting menu. We enjoyed a plate of Key West shrimp over bowtie pasta and a steak fajita. Portions are filling. Most tables enjoy a... More

Our Ti family took us here for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The autumn decorations were charming and the food was yum! Scallops wrapped in bacon, fried mushrooms, burgers, fries, onion rings, cookies.... we ate it all! We went at dusk and watched the view of the Fort across the lake slowly fade into darkness. Warm, inviting and popular... More

Found this place a few years ago and never miss a chance to stop in for lunch (and an occasional dinner). Really good lunch menu that will have something for everyone and a nice selection of bottled beers. The owner, Kathy, is on top of everything so sometimes service is slow as she is usually in the kitchen making something... More

The soups and sandwiches are delicious, especially the French Onion soup. They make open faced sandwiches that provide a filling and delicious lunch experience.

This place has so much charm! Kathy the owner is Hands on all the time and aims to please. Her Secret Wing Sauce is AMAZING. Just a little costly and you only get 10, not a dozen. But love watching the train go by in front.

Location and setting were as described in prior reviews. We went for a Saturday night dinner and were not impressed. Service was very slow and when our food finally arrived, it was not as we had ordered it. Also, good luck getting a refill on your drink. If you decide to try this place, take cash. Credit cards are not... More

Had a chance to take my son and daughter in law here this spring. We had a great window table looking out towards Fort Ti. Hats off to the waitress who steered us to the table and away from one that wouldn't have such interesting views. Food was good. And came out on time. Only drawback is credit cards are... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch after reading the reviews on TA and we weren't disappointed. We had wings both medium and inferno. My husband said the inferno wings were the hottest he's ever had. Nice view and friendly service.

I frequently go to the Fort View Inn and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and accommodating. This is a very warm setting overlooking the shore of Lake Champlain where you have a nice view of Fort Ticonderoga and across the Lake to Vermont. I have always enjoyed whatever I have ordered; the sandwiches are great and you... More
