What a surprise to step in here and see the 50s decor! Even more surprising was how clean everything was....clean tables, clean bathroom, etc. Friendly staff, too. Tables well-spaced. Food was plentiful and good, and good prices. Did I say good??? lol We were there...at the height of lunch time and the service was a little slow. Many tables ahead of us so we had to wait well over a half hour for the food to arrive. Servers very busy, everything cooked to order . Everything that came out of the kitchen looked great! My only disappointment was the server never came back to check on us or see if we needed refills on drinks. But I'll forgive her given the place was sooooooo busy. I'll go back in a heartbeat. In fact, we will make a special trip off the highway to go there.More

What a great fun and friendly place. The food was exceptional for our lunch - and it's right in the middle of town in a former Rexall Drug store making it a well and welcoming stop. A nice change from restaurants in Lake George village...which are way too crowded.More

We spotted Burleigh's while taking a little walk around after taking the Star Trek set tour across the street. It was about lunch time we both had sandwiches , both very good. I saw several good looking desserts go by and decided to have an...old fashioned chocolate malt, also good. Help was great , everything was clean. Total bill under 30 bucks.More

We were camping nearby and needed some lunch so we stopped in. Charming place. It has the checkerboard floors, tuck and roll “leather” seats and booths, tin ceilings, fluorescent lights and decorations from the era. The food was decent but nothing special. I ordered a...chicken tender basket but they were out so I substituted clam strips. Others got cheeseburgers and a salad. Overall, pretty good but nothing great. Service was slow but I think that was because of the kitchen. They weren’t SLAMMED but they were overly busy. That said, I realize that a good meal takes time to prepare. We would try it again if ever in the area.More

Had decent prices here!! All had burgers and a tuna melt with chips. Nice atmosphere but air conditioning was a bit chilly. Good came in a reasonable time. 1950’s atmosphere.

My family popped in here for dinner looking for something warm and filling after spending the day at the Star Trek on a cold and wet day. We were not disappointed. 3 of us ordered the soup of the day (Manhattan clam chowder), fries and...grilled cheese. The food was delicious. My son ordered the special of the day, Chicken Parmesan, and loved it. Food was home cooked, not greasy and very affordable! The 4 of us had dinner for about $40 including a giant chocolate milk shake and a cannoli for dessert.More

This was an interesting experience like stepping back into the 50s. The place has a definite retro feel and the food was good and priced right.

We loved the 50's/60's decor with signs, ads, and record albums on the walls. Music matched the era. Wonderful breakfast and service, but I was surprised that hash browns were extra $. Service was very good and waitress mentioned several times for us to relax...and stay as long as we liked. We had conversations with several other patrons (some locals) and quite enjoyed the whole experience. What a friendly place and town! Moderately priced. I definitely recommend this restaurant.More

Recommended by the folks at the Star Trek Set Tour as the best food, at an amazing ly inexpensive price. Had a delicious fried fish (haddock) sandwich and fries cooked perfectly. My wife had a party melt sandwich which was fantastic! Nice 50's diner look...and feel.More

Even though they had not received their delivery, the owners let us in and gave us fast and good service. We all ordered different breakfast choices and all enjoyed them. We will return when we're in the area.

The restaurant is a 50's style diner. We went there midday. I had breakfast (eggs and bacon) and my husband ate lunch. Food was good and the fries were crispy like my husband asked for. Service was excellent!

Came here during a break from touring Fort T. Really cool retro decor. It was busy during lunch so we sat at the counter. The turkey club and salad did not disappoint. Fries were very good. I did not need a plate of potato chips...too...lol Good service and quick lunch to get back to Fort T. Street parking available.More

We stopped here for lunch while visiting the Fort and Mt Defiance rather than eat at at the Fort cafe. I'm glad we did! Food was delicious and service was great. Portion sizes were perfect for lunch - filling without being overstuffed, as we still...had more sightseeing to do. Can't beat the prices! Lunch for two was $15 plus tip.More
