very busy very expensive very old and not clean building. The bathroom was clean, however, but again very old and not updated. no free refills on soda. very cramped and crowded I had 12 inches between myself and the next customer at the table beside me. I don't know what the fire code is but they really packed the people... More

Place used to be the best in town. Great bbq Sunday. Price went up nearly $4 in one years time. Idk what happened to the brownies. They used to be fantastic now they are terrible. What a shame!

The place is old school. Prices very reasonable for resort town. We got the grilled prime rib. Excellent. Grilling it gave it additional flavor. Had a bottle of very reasonably priced cab. Whole bill was $73 for two with soup. Would definitely recommend.

We were very disappointed in the food. The salad and rolls were good. The steak and potatos were properly cooked, but had no flavor/seasoning and were tasteless. We didn't finish even half of it. The restaurant was outdated and not very clean (we watched in disgust as the server purposely wiped pieces of food onto the old rug, rather into... More

Dinner was served in a timely manner as were the appetizers. Could've used more help, but clean and good.

This is a great place to go if you are hungry. Typical mountain eatery right out of the 50's or 60's. Good menu of both "man food" and things the mid will eat. Beef is a great choice here.

We came in and were seated fast (the wait time was over an hour anyplace else, we had a large party and no reservations). Our waiter was really nice and had a great sense of humor, and was incredibly efficient with such a large group. The restaurant was real nice and offered a cozy and rustic Adirondack atmosphere. The food... More

Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump. Atmosphere: Lousy, cheap tables and chairs, floor was filthy Food: Mediocre at best. We went on "Bar-B-Que" night (Sunday) which meant a more limited menu. Steak was lousy and full of fat. No flavor whatsoever. Props on the coleslaw which is creamy and tasty. Sadly, the best part of the meal. Service:... More

The restaurant has a rustic feel and a friendly staff. The adults ordered steaks and they all were good. I asked for my t-bone to be rare and it was a bit over cooked but flavorful. Although the didn't have chicken fingers on the menu, they made them for one of the children. The servers were very friendly and the... More

1st time going to The Steak House. My family consisted of 4 adults and we all had 1/2 BBQ chicken. It came with 3 sides and there was plenty to eat for somewhere under $13.00. I went with coleslaw (very good), baked beans (also good with bacon) and salt potatoes. I wish the salt potatoes had been served with melted... More
