This is such cool brewery! I like how it is located in the basement of the building. It was quite warm down there when we visited but the beers cooled us off. Their selections are all very tasty. Next time I'll be sure to try the food!

Great food, crisp beer and some of the best Cajun music north of Louisiana.. wonderful atmosphere and a knack for seasonal drafts!

Great martini- fish and chips were okay, the sauce was the best part of the dish. Salads are huge and the grilled chicken was fabulous. The entrance feels like your walking into a basement. Be careful if your in heels.

Went for dinner with a group of six family members on a Saturday night. If you're a younger 20 something out with friends, it is probably a great place. We found the menu to be uninspired, the food mediocre, and the room too loud for conversation. Beer was good - enjoyed the variety. Probably won't return on our next trip... More

Although this place was a little loud for my tastes, it had a fun, casual vibe and friendly, efficient staff. Our server was great and the food was very good. My friend and I split the fajitas---more than enough for two and very good!!

Our party of three had dinner at Empire Brewing Company last week. The setting at Empire is beautiful and unique; basement level dining room and large bar. Empire's strong suit is their beer, brewed locally with numerous seasonal varieties. Their food is okay; not great, not very imaginative. There are better places to eat in Armory Square, but maybe no... More

Stopped in for lunch on a weekend afternoon. Not too crowded. Had a bowl of the moroccan chili that was superb.

Stopped in midweek to a manageable crowd but it gave the place a good vibe. Had am elk burger and liked it. Overall, I think I likes Dinosaur better.

Beer tasting was great! Enjoyed the spicy andouille, pasta Nola and yummy corn bread; however the pig burger was our favorite! Food service was quick. Ambiance was just "ok" for us, felt more like a college hangout.

A good microbrew restaurant with excellent good and decent beer. Enjoyed the good and beer but not the best beer that I have had. But a great place to visit if you never have been.

Thank John F

Empire Brewing Company is a contemporary downtown bar and grill with a brewery on the premises. Here, we aspire to provide customers with the best food and libation available by utilizing fresh locally sourced ingredients. Whether it is vegetables and herbs grown in our garden, hops grown by our brewer, locally raised grass-fed Angus beef, or original music performed by our friends, we give our patrons an experience that can only be had at Empire Brewing Company.

The moderately priced and eclectic food menu is complemented by a diverse selection of hand-crafted ales and lagers. In addition to beer, Empire offers cocktails and a large selection of wine.

The atmosphere is casual and festive. The brewing facility is housed in a glass-enclosed work area which provides a view of the massive copper and stainless steel brewing vessels. The food is prepared in a handsome open-performance kitchen allowing patrons visibility of the chef and his assistants.

The interior decor highlights the industrial elements of the microbrewery, the drama of the performance kitchen, and the architectural nuances of the building. The understated design - featuring exposed brick walls, wood beams, and columns - pays homage to the brewing tradition and the pre-existing architecture. With clarity the aim and materials and ambient lighting the accent, a warm and inviting environment has been created for customers to enjoy the music, food, and beverages.
