Service was excellent. Atmosphere dark and dark with some black iron for contrast. Food, just ok, 3 people, 2 sandwiches and fajitas, 2 salads, 1 beer, 2 soft drinks 75 dollars. Fajitas were cooked to death and then they drowned the skillet under cheese. The beer was good.

I've been here a few times and every time is great. Service is friendly and fast. The food is always very delicious. I love their beer specials they run and enjoy sampling as well.

Been here anytime I find myself cutting through or staying in Syracuse. Burgers are outstanding, (Spicy Pig is amazing), as is the Java slaw. Any app is a good bet and the menu offers something for anyone. But the beer.... The beer makes the place without a doubt. Empire makes some the best craft east of the Mississippi, especially their... More

Went here the day of Phish concert. Place was packed, but bartenders handled crowd well. Great live music added to fun and happy vibe. In a great section of town. Drank the ipa and it was solid. Would go back

This craft brewer is highly successful in creating unique brews that appeal to many. Their food is tasty and compliments the beer they offer.

MY wife and I met some out of town friends here for Brunch today. The atmosphere is fantastic, and their drinks are perfection. I can say that my breakfast pizza and the baked egg dishes that some others had at my table were a little less than great. I have to admit though that the service was excellent and the... More

Stopped in for a quick drink. Amazed at the vast variety of beers available. Our choices were Rasberry Cider and East Coast Lager. Both were very good. Only regret is that we only had time for one beer each. Fun Bar!!!

Enjoyed everything about this -- good menu with enough variety to please everyone; portions were large (maybe too large!), fish tacos were awesome. Great beer! Decent pricing. Would come again.

My husband & I found ourselves in Syracuse NY on a Sat night. It's not a big city but we walked around the little downtown area & were rebuffed at several restaurants, being told that a table for 2 would require a 45-60min wait. We finally just left our name & cellphone number with the Empire Brew Pub, despite also... More

I was so looking forward to a gastro pub-like experience, but it was not in the cards. My husbands' beer battered haddock was tasty, but my Thai salad was awful. The chicken was hard to cut and gristly. The dressing was not very good, and the lettuce was in big chunks. I did not finish it, and I usually always... More

Empire Brewing Company is a contemporary downtown bar and grill with a brewery on the premises. Here, we aspire to provide customers with the best food and libation available by utilizing fresh locally sourced ingredients. Whether it is vegetables and herbs grown in our garden, hops grown by our brewer, locally raised grass-fed Angus beef, or original music performed by our friends, we give our patrons an experience that can only be had at Empire Brewing Company.

The moderately priced and eclectic food menu is complemented by a diverse selection of hand-crafted ales and lagers. In addition to beer, Empire offers cocktails and a large selection of wine.

The atmosphere is casual and festive. The brewing facility is housed in a glass-enclosed work area which provides a view of the massive copper and stainless steel brewing vessels. The food is prepared in a handsome open-performance kitchen allowing patrons visibility of the chef and his assistants.

The interior decor highlights the industrial elements of the microbrewery, the drama of the performance kitchen, and the architectural nuances of the building. The understated design - featuring exposed brick walls, wood beams, and columns - pays homage to the brewing tradition and the pre-existing architecture. With clarity the aim and materials and ambient lighting the accent, a warm and inviting environment has been created for customers to enjoy the music, food, and beverages.
