Service was excellent, food outstanding, we had a calamari steak, breaded with parmesan cheese and lemon and fried delicately, could cut it with a fork. Pasta was very nice and alfredo sauce, mushrooms, broccoli and angel hair was great!

Friends and I came in for the holidays and enjoyed fried calamari between us. I always get the homemade lasagna and one of my friends enjoyed there homemade fettuccine Alfredo. Stay true to tradition. Thanks Copanis

Been here a bunch of times, love the food. Love the service. Cant ask for anything more. One of a kind. Traditional. Oldschool. Food comes first than profit. They care about there customers. I can go and talk to the owner or turn around and make a conversation with a server as if he was part of the family.

This used to be our go-to Italian place in Syracuse. No familiar faces left last night. The calamari appetizer was tasteless and oily. My daughter's entrée, meatballs with linguine was so bad, she only ate the meatballs. The sauce tasted like it was out of an aluminum can. The pasta was horrible - how can an Italian restaurant ruin pasta?... More

Had not eaten in this restaurant for quite some time but were driving by and decided to stop in for dinner, There was not much of a crowd, and we were greeted and seated right away. Food and service were very good. Calamari steak appetizer was excellent. For an extra $2 you can add antipasto, coffee and desert witch we... More

We have eaten at Casa di Copani on a number of occasions with mostly good results. However, we made the mistake of going there for dinner Sunday, which happened to be Mother's Day. They were short-staffed, screwed up our order, had nasty radio music blaring through the speakers, and shrunk portion sizes. The hostess "lost" our reservation, despite the fact... More

Found this restaurant while searching local while staying at the Hampton Inn, East Syracuse. Hotel staff hadn't tried it , but I prefer family run establishments over chains any day. While waiting for our table, had a drink at the bar, very friendly and helpful bartender. The hostess, when she had a free moment came to speak with us and... More

I have to start by saying that this restaurant has the best calamari I've ever tasted. Period. I live near Buffalo, but would advise that this restaurant is worth the stop if driving through or visiting Syracuse. Excellent service. Tremendous food. You will be welcomed, served a great and generous meal in an old school Italian restaurant in a comfortable... More

Casa di Copani's is a rare but genuine place to eat! Ive been going there off and on over the 16yrs. One thing that hasnt change is that spark of true italian dining. Theres so many dishes that are tops, that i cant just pick one that is my fav. but the menu does highlight recommendations. I enjoy eating at... More

Went there for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Place was not too busy. Service was friendly, fast and attentive. Seated, and drinks came out quickly. All specials explained in detail. The meal, from appetizers to entrees, to desserts was very good. We live across town, and don't get there that often, but every time it is well worth the trip.
