Brooklyn pickle has been in business over 30 years, and no surprise there. It is a tightly run business. No matter how crowded the parking lot is, and the long lines out the door, you rarely wait more than a few minutes. Several employees to make your freshly prepared sandwiches, which are delicious. The sandwiches are huge, overflowing with your... More

Nice atmosphere and really good sandwiches. Staff was pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. No selections for kids however they will make them a sandwich with less meat. I recommend giving this place a try.

I was expecting more from this. I could make the same type of sandwich at my hotel room. I had the turkey sandwich.

Took a road trip from Rochester just to go to lunch here. That's how good it is! We come here about twice a year and are never disappointed. My husband and I split a sandwich, and it was plenty for both of us. The bread is so fresh. Wish we had Brooklyn Pickle. Will be back again later this summer.

Came highly recommended. My partner has had a hankering for a REAL NY deli sandwich. We were headed to Syracuse for the weekend so I did some research to see if I could find him one. Seeing a lot of 4 STAR reviews of this place gave me hope. It was relatively easy to find and with a packed parking... More

I'm from Brooklyn, but live in Buffalo, and was driving through Syracuse when I got hungry. A quick Trip Advisor search pulled up Brooklyn Pickle and I had to try it out. Nedless to say, I was not disappointed. They are the real deal and my dinner was like a taste of home. I ordered a pastrami on rye, potato... More

I've been to Brooklyn Pickle sporadically over the last decade or two but tonight's visit showed me how far downhill the place has gone. I ordered a Reuben to go. Now they use thin sliced rye, paper thin shaved corn beef (heavily processed since it is all the same color), sauerkraut and two slices of cheese for a full sandwich.... More

At least a dozen varieties of sandwiches to choose from, and fast. Whether you eat in or take out, grab a full size cooler beverage, a bag of chips, your sandwich & you're good to go! Soups are good and salads ok too - but the sandwiches (my fav on dark rye) can't be beat.
