Great selection, great staff, and great food! We don't make it to the area too often, but we always make a point to stop here when we do!

Huge bar, hip people, often live music, incredible selection of alcohol from whiskies to wines and more. It gets really tight when its crowded and that happens often. The carpets are sadly soaked in hundreds of gallons of boozed spilled on them which you can smell and feel on your feet from the 2nd you walk in. But somehow its... More

I am not alone in saying that I love this place! Such a cool, low key environment and a collection of bottles like none-other. Really nice that they have food too - Make-your own cheese plate, panini's, salads, etc... You cant go wrong with Al's.

Al's is a wonderful spot ... great selection, EXCELLENT bartenders (Jimmy is the best ever), a selection you won't believe. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, comfortable couches in the back, and a pool table! How cool is that! I would highly recommend Al's to anyone. Best Bar in Upstate NY

Excellent place to kick back and enjoy a relaxing beverage with a friend or business associate. The whisky and bourbon selection is very deep, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable with the entire lineup. Haven't found a better place to have a dram in my travels.

Visiting on a Friday night was a really cool experience. All the locals seem to come here. We enjoyed the beers and the helpful staff (the pumpkin beer was really nice). No free parking to be found anywhere near so we paid 7$ (wasn't so bad).

Incredible selection of spirits. The bartender said it was 3rd largest in the country. I don't know, but it was large. To make things even better the bartender was very versed on cocktail as well as wine. Made for a great experience. Got a little loud as the night wore on, but so was the crowd.

The wall of the entire bar is lined with bottles of alcohol, which adds to the cool atmosphere. This is a fun bar to hangout at and play pool or even board games with some friends. A low key place for a Friday night. Always busy. Drinks are a bit pricey but that is to be expected in armory square.

The bartender here was extremely pleasant and attentive. The whiskey selection is endless. The wine selection is good but it is small, about a page long of reds and whites to choose from. If you are a lover of whiskey this is definitely a place to visit.

Thank Lori M
