It used to be a great place to go and eat but lately the food quality went down and the price you pay it is too high for the quality. They have a female manager on duty that is far from being customer oriented. She...is always in a very cranky mood and as you approach to speak to her she always gives you “the look”. In the other hand, they still have a great empanadas selection and Diego, a Sever that has work for a long time is always very friendly and gives his best to make of your time at the restaurant the best possibleMore

The festive interior, with posters of landscapes and antiquities, puts you in a good mood when you enter, and so do the welcoming staff. We started with an order of mbeju, a cheesy starch cake, and then proceeded to the piece de resistance, the parrillada...para dos. A huge heated serving tray was loaded with beef ribs, skirt steaks, chicken, sausage, fried yuca, and grilled potatoes, not to mention a salad of tomatoes and greens. Especially outstanding were the beef ribs, rich and juicy and tender. A bottle of Malbec completed this splendid meal.More

Wify gets her chipa (not sure how you spell it) here, and bunch of other indigenous sweets. Like the place for its authenticity and catering to native Paraguayans.

The staff is very nice. Food is a little expensive but, everything is delicious . You can also take out orders. If you go on weekends there is a live music with harp. Excellent place to be with your family.

amazing place with amazing people, food was delicious, abundant and the hostess & owners welcomes our family even though there were packed make a table for us, each of them make sure we were served properly and the love and courtesy was way above and...beyond surpassing any expectations we have had. They even had a musician playing the Paraguayan Harp, transporting us back to our roots with its beautiful Guaranias and Polkas and romantic Paraguayan melodies.... muchas gracias amigos Paraguayos ❤️😍🎶More

Food was great. Waiter was terrific and provided many options, We started with a empanada appetizer which included 3 different empanadas 3 each Beef, Chicken, Ham and Cheese and 3 croquettes which was easy to share and was delicious. I had Milanesa de Carne as...my entree which was a beef dish with mashed potato as a side which was very good. My only complaint with the restaurant is that they automatically added 20% tip to the bill. We were a table of four people, most restaurants only add a tip reqirement when there are at least six people. Also the bill has this tip included in the total cost with a gratuity line underneath the total for the patron to add the tip so it is possible if one doesn't actually read the entire bill the patron will add their gratuity to the total charge and be providing an additional tip to the tip that was already charged and added to the bill - thus double dipping.More

Went in for lunch and was prepared to just have a simple salad since my dietary needs have changed and I can't eat gluten. But when I saw the menu, I was so surprised to see Gluten Free options identified in red throughout the menu....So I was excited to try the yuca empanadas stuffed with beef and egg. What delight! Although not the same as the empanadas made with dough, it was satisfying. The service was great too. I will definitely go back. Others in my party had the beef soup minus the egg (Sundays only) came with yuca on the side. Lomito and egg sandwich with fries. Regular beef empanadas..More

My family of four ate here on a Friday afternoon- lunch. No wait time. Food was fresh. We ordered a little of everything and all was great. My mom is from Paraguay and knows good cooking. The mandioca empanandas is a must. We also had...the homemade gnocchi; delish. I had the the bife al caballo- tasty, meat was thin and slight over cooked but had plenty of flavors. My nephew had the Milanese de pollo with rice; he ate it all. My daughter, who is 10 order the tallarines. Portion was too big for her. She got a doggie bag. Overall, food great, priced reasonable. We were missing some veggies or a salad. Would have ordered a green salad or should be a side option. Service was pleasant and very attentive. Commute in from midtown was easy. Would recommend as authentic Paraguayan food.Enjoy.More
