We came because a local cover band that we knew was performing in the Beer Garden. Nice menu available outside. Ample tables with umbrellas. A bar and waitress service are available in the Beer Garden. We enjoyed some Potato Pancakes, a Fresh Hot Pretzel and German Beers. Nice venue. Can be a challenge to park depending upon when you visit.

We go every once in awhile and the always had this special which consisted of a crock with sauerkraut ,mashed potatoes, and sausage and a combo dinner with al little of every thing. Well it is gone and they cut back on the menu selection. But all in all the portions are as big as ever and what ever you... More

Killmeyer's is a destination itself! The building has been standing since the mid 1800s and is the oldest restaurant/tavern on Staten Island. Sauerbraten, sauerkraut, German fried potatoes, schnitzel and beer, beer, beer! Sundays, there is a traditional German Oom-pah Band and customers are invited to dance or join the band with clippers, tambourines and horns And now, the world's largest... More

Came to hang out and have some different style beers. Building has old 1800s style charm. Wooden floors. They serve Oktoberfest style German food and beer. Occasionally you have DJ Kitty playing some music.

A flight is a sample if 15 domestic or imported beers, you pick either type but not the actual beer. What a great way to figure out what you really like. The waitress was helpful and the salmon was perfect. Very traditional menu. Not sure my kids could eat here.

Definitely a must visit--Its such a quaint place. They have live music (most of the time) which adds to the German decor and atmosphere. I've sat at the bar and in the restaurant area- the waitstaff are dressed in traditional German attire. The have a huge selection of beer- which my boyfriend loved. I don't drink beer but ordered a... More

Had a celebratory business dinner here and Had a great time. But you should be prepared for a casual dining experience. There is really no wine list per se but they do have wine if you're not up for the great German brews they offer! Dinner was good, tasty and plentiful. The server was attentive and great fun. I will... More

I go for lunch about twice a month with some friends. Killmeyers has a nice variety of German food and a decent choice of beers on tap. The fact that their prices are reasonable only adds to my enjoyment. The atmosphere is "old school " which is my preference.
