Well, really if I good pick a rating between average and very good (i.e. good), I would give it that. Food is good, especially considering it's on SI. Ate in once and service was ok too.

Have eaten there several times in the past, like the food. However had a terrible experience with a larger group. First off, one order was wrong and the waitress basically told us we were wrong. We then got charged for the food that we did not order. Since out party was 9 people the gratuity was already in the check.... More

We visited on a Saturday for dinner, the place was very busy but the service was at all times excellent. Everyone was very respectful and at all times attending to their customers with a smile. The menu has a large variety of items, well described with all the ingredients. The food was delicious, nicely presented and abundant. Some weekdays they... More

I was a little hesitant about trying Turkish food, but my wife wanted to go. Seaside Turkish is a small restaurant but what they lack in size is more then offset by the food and mostly the staff. We were welcomed and cheerfully seated. The menu was explained to us and we ordered the Manti which we were told is... More

Since I moved from Brooklyn to Staten Island, I noticed that the local eateries always try to associate or to compare themselves with Brooklyn. ...and most of the times they are not even close. So when Seaside opened its doors, I approached them with caution and suspicion. How could a Turkish Restaurant on the Island even begin to claim its... More

We love this place...always crowded on weekends, so arrive early...order their delicious and fresh shepherds salad~~ to die for...we love their chicken Adana and their lamb chops, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Portions were large and palatible, and satisfied our hunger, no problem. Leave room for one of their delicious desserts. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Place is always... More

The food is absloluty best of the best,. I have never received a bad meal Service is extremely slow but I think that comes form the back of the house. The 'so called' manager curses the wait staff in front of the guests. Very demeaning and unporfessional. Wait staff needs to be more attentivete the needs of diner-even if it... More

I eat at this restaurant often, with friends, family and clients. I must say, they have the best hummus and warm bread around. I love the turkish tea, shepherds salad and grilled chicken which is always always fresh! I also love their red lentil soup and poached apricots with walnuts for dessert. Also, the prices are extremely fair. If you... More

Description
An excellent local gem and true value! Turkish and Mediterrean delights like Hummas, stuffed grape leaves, all kinds of kebab and slow simmered lamb shanks are artefully prepared and served. Domestic and imported beers including some turkish dellghts and good value Turkish wind=es amke this restaurant a local favorite for bot buisness lunches and family dinners.Entrees are priced from $12 to $19, and they make a mean pizza with both traditional and edgier toppings. It is near the Verrazanno Narrows Bridge and the boardwalk where you can watch the ships sail in and out of NY harbor.
