Everyone talks about the treats which are great, but I'm going to mention the coffee. It is amazing and it even tastes great black. Worth a trip if you need a good cup of joe in the morning.

We have been going to Tates for many years and as it has become more and more successful, the quality of the cookies and other big items has gone down. You can now find Tates cookies in grocery stores all over New York City. Perhaps they are a victim of their own success since as they have ramped up their... More

Since the 1980's I have been buying these chocolate chip cookies, then called Kathleen's Cookies, and now Tate's (in honor of her father.). They are simply the best ever, deliciously crisp and buttery. Yesterday I bought a chocolate croissant at Citarella's and one at Tate's. Each was $3. The Tate's was better in all aspects: flakier, more chocolate, more moist.

If you want really good baked goods...cookies, breads, cupcakes, pies, etc. this is the place to go. Actually, I think it's the best in Southampton and I've been out here for 23 years! The ingredients are of the best quality that you can taste in every bite.

Not much to say. Its a great place to get all you morning goodies. The pastries, cookies, bread..it's all makes the tastebuds happy! I tend to walk to the shop in the morning, so I can treat myself to and extra brownie or some other sugary treat. This is a must stop when going through Southampton Village.

I love Tate's baked goods and also love their coffee. I have been to the shop a few times and always had a good cup and a tasty treat. Their cakes are delicious too!

Yummy treats fresh from the source! Skip the section @ Citarella's and enjoy cookies & more at Tate's charming bakery! Plus their coffee is spectacular!

Every summer I stop at Tate's (at least once, usually more than once) for chocolate peanut butter pars, pretzel twists, the best coffee cake, chocolate chip muffins and OF COURSE, chocolate chip cookies. It's not super cheap, but not outrageously expensive either. The cookies are crisp like potato chips, and no one can eat just one. (At the counter they... More

I love these cookies the fact that you could buy other flavors then are available at local stores. There was a butterscotch, chocolate hot pepper, oatmeal raisin, chocolate walnut, something with crasins. But best of all there were biscoti. I bought them looking forward to trying them. Also they have different cakes, Cupcakes, coffee drinks, fresh squeezed lemonade and ice... More
