Excellent food, pricey

Went on early dinner at it was practically empty. Tried a couple of items and liked them all. Jumbo shrimp were great. Steak was very good. Ordered 2 beers, no dessert and the bill was high. Once again great food, check the menu or website if on a budget.

It is difficult to tell that this restaurant changed hands 4 years ago, since the decor and menu have basically stayed the same. Gone is the salad bar (no loss), but the rest of the food is dependably fresh and (somewhat) reasonably priced. We went for lunch on a mild Saturday in November and it was nearly empty. Hope they... Great lobster lunch with water views and a comfortable though Spartan decor. Food was excellent and reasonably priced

Went for Sunday brunch/lunch and had two delicious entrees- seafood crepes and lobster benedict! Comes with mimosas or wine- excellent! Service was also very good as we sat by the window right next to the water on a beautiful day! We have been here a number of times over the years and are never disappointed!

Some sites refer to this place as the Lobster Inn, but whatever you call it--What an adorable place! I ate here with my wife and she loved it. The decor is very charming and the wait staff are attentive and friendly. The view is picturesque, with the restaurant sitting on a canal. Obviously, go here for the seafood, which they... More

I thought that on reviving the old "Lobster Inn" something new and better would emerge. Unfortunately it is more of the same old. The beautiful location on an inlet of Peconic Bay and the old quaint building are still the same, but the rest is not even as good as before! The oysters, the size of a Dollar coin, and... More

Lobster Grille is conveniently located off of 27 on the way back from the vineyards of Long Island. The restaurant is rated as $$ for cost on Google Maps, however I would consider it more expensive based on $12 for a small Moscow Mule and $24 for a small flounder, after which I was still hungry. I don't like paying... More

Great atmosphere on the water - like an old fish house. NIce, fresh simple food, and just a place a feel welcome at.

This was the worst dining experience in my life. Our waiter moved so slowly, at one point I thought he was going backwards. He came for our drink order and the drinks appeared 20 minutes later after our food was delivered and I had asked for the drinks twice. The rose I had tasted as if it were strained through... More

Stopped here in the way back from Montauk. The place needs a major overhaul in terms of seating and decor in general. The food was mostly fries and quickly prepared.
