Summary: You go to Redbar because everyone tells you that you must. It is attractive and clean, and the wait staff very capable. It is also very, very loud. Review: I liked Redbar. It was fun, the food was pretty good, and the prices, while on the high side, weren't out of line. This is the heart of the Hamptons,... More

This place is always lively because it is so good. You know a restaurant in this area must be pretty good if they are open year-round and busy year round. We almost always go here with large groups, and they are very accommodating, and everyone is usually very happy. Only downside: noise level, if that bothers you.

We had dinner inside on a quiet weekday evening but could hardly hear our fellow dinner guests. There are no soft furnishings in the room so the noise level is unacceptable. It would have been preferable to sit outside with the traffic noise. The food was fair but unexciting and expensive. The special lobster bisque was described as being garnished... More

We have tried most of the restaurants in area, and this is by far the best. Food was wonderful, service excellent and prices fair. The lamb was outstanding and my linguine with fresh crab meat was delicious. This will be our favorite restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone who wants fine dining with great food

This was a charming place for a late dinner. We arrived in Southampton later than planned and I called the hostess 3 times to adjust our reservation. She was very gracious and accommodating. The food was outstanding. Hummus was top notch. We had plenty of food and the prices were reasonable. Parking was a bit tight. But overall a great... More

Have been many times over many years and this restaurant keeps getting better! Very Very loud place because of hard finishes and find we avoid sometimes for that reason. Food is Excellent and Staff superb with comfortable choices of food and wine.. the smaller but almost as expensive restaurant by same owners in Southampton is called Little Reds as well.

Agree with the positive reviews. I just want to call out the L.I. duckling. It was outstanding. The skin was crispy and the meat so so tender. The breast was especially tasty due the layer of fat between the skin and meat. Some people won't eat duck. Pity them. If you are someone who will eat duck, then you should... More

I've been a few times.. and even to their other "brasserie" Little Red in the village of Southampton which I also recommend. The bartenders make a great (one of the best I've had) Cosmopolitan. And I get the boeuf bourguignon.

Great choice for an out of season dinner. The ambience is relaxed yet with just the right level of chic, with attentive but unobtrusive service. Menu choices are just right (with just the right balance and number of choices). Prices are decent as well. We'll definitely be going back...

Always excellent, food is priced as expected. You get what you pay for! The price fixe is a good deal. Only problem is doing the season the place is packed and the noise level is too loud. But if you go early you will enjoy the ambiance.
