The three stars are for the view and the parking. We only came for the day so we didn't want to have to purchase parking to go to the beach and the restaurant had parking available. It was a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded. There were 4 of us at the table plus a baby. The waiter didn't pay... More

The food was amazing. View was lovely and service was good. Had the octopus and fluke ceviche to start which were decent, and the moules frites, branzino and the rotisserie chicken as mains were all absolutely delicious. Not cheap but worth it

This is one of the must visit spots during your visit to the Hamptons, specially if you are a newcomer. No one does it like André Balasz and his magical touch, creating an european touch in the beautiful Shelter Island. The music, the happy scene and drinks are the main attraction. I can't say the food is the main attraction,... More

We had lunch at this fun spot. The naked clams, oysters, and many other dishes were excellent. We would come back in a NY second. It's not cheap but excluding high liquor prices not bad. Try it!

Well, I liked this 70's place in the middle of nowhere which remembered me the French Riviera ambient! Nice place, beautiful people, good spot to party the weekend, wonderful sunset! Unfortunately this comes with crazy prices: $20 for a ham sandwich, minimum $75 for a bottle of average Rose... Guys, come back on Earth!

The food was average. The tuna tartare was really good but the rest was ok. It took 15 minutes to get a drink and it wasn't that crowded. The staff was less than friendly and when splitting a bill they put gratuity based on the whole bill not the part you are paying for which is a little shady.

If you feel like spending a lot of money and experiencing the south of France without leaving the states, visit Sunset Beach. If you were spectacular, the food is OK, and the drinks flow. It is a wonderful place to go to, of course, see the sunset.

Really good cocktails, had one with homemade beer that was crazy good. Good service and wonderful beach views and people watching.
