Lots of food, ok soup, salad was too cold. Entrees were large, ok tasting, but not outstanding. They accept groupons.

Nice sushi

This is one place we go often for sushi. They have decent sushi at good price. Service is quick and always nice. I would go here again and again.

Lunch date with my daughter

Took my daughter for lunch. We sat at the sushi bar because she likes to watch the chefs (she's 7) We each ordered the lunch roll special plus one specialty roll. This roll was salmon ovo inside with a finely chopped lobster salad top and a little sauce. We both thought it was delicious! Overall the food was on par with most places, but the service was good, the tea was nice and strong and that roll would bring me back again.

Excellent sit down full service ALL YOU CAN EAT. High end food at reasonable price

Excellent food, an opinion from a FOODIE that eats out 5 times a week! Ignore negative reviews. For about $20 lunch or $30 dinner it's a great deal. Service is efficient and accurate. Lunch menu is limited, I prefer the dinner menu (more higher end )items. They are happy to serve dinner menu during lunch "hours". Watch the schedule, it's complicated. Decor is super nice. Sushi tends a bit toward the more Japanese style than Americanized.

FANTASTIC , OUTSTANDING

Everything is super fresh. Full table service, not a buffet. Just keep ordering as you go along from your table order sheet. It is a good idea to have full paper menus at the table so you can read what each item you are ordering from the order sheet is. Unless you are fully familiar with what everything is. Service is fast , friendly and very helpful in explaining and answering any questions you may have, especially if it is your first time there. Have been here many times, great place to bring guests and family to. Relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of free parking. The hot tea is delicious as well as the Sake.And you really can order all you can eat. We try many different menu items each time. Just working our way through the menu, so far no disappoints.

Seriously?

My family and I have visited and enjoyed Machi Sushi frequently since 2018, then the pandemic and they no longer had indoor seating so we started ordering in. On several occasions my granddaughter placed an online order only to find that although the restaurant was closed the order was accepted. One time my grandson found a piece of steel wool in his food. BUT LAST NIGHT WAS THE FINAL STRAW. My granddaughter ordered on line, a fairly large order and when my grandson went to pick it up he found out the restaurant is CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION until August 18th. AND they charged my credit card and said I would NOT be issued a refund. Needless to say we will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

Very disappointing

Very disappointed with the food and delivery service. Food was mediocre at best. What was worse was that it arrived cold. We are less than 1 mile away. No excuses for cold food. Add this to the pricey nature of the food and we can honestly say we won’t return.

Amazing sushi and great delivery!

Machi sushi has been my main delivery sushi for a year now. Living in middle island there are not many delivery options. We have always had great delivery service from them. This past weekend I stopped by to pick up my take out order. Having never been in the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised it looked really nice. And it had a nice big bar. Having liked the look of it we went there for dinner tonight. We were the only people in there. It must be due to the location, because the food is really fresh and one of the best sushi on Long Island. The restaurant feels really clean, and my waitress was really nice. The menu is really good with lots of food and drink options. I really hope people start going there, it really is worth it and they do a Groupon also. We will definitely be back!

Decent Sushi .. nothing special !

Me and my wife went there after we bought Groupon. Interior was okay like regular Asian restaurants. I ordered two sushi tempura roll and my wife ordered avocado and veggie roll. They were decent. Yes we would go back as long as their is groupon.

We ordered dinner for home delivery. The delivery time was OK. The food was good it was nothing special. It was basically the same as you can get at a supermarket. Unfortunately the price was extremely expensive based on the quality of the food. We were really hoping for a good quality Sushi restaurant in this area

The Food wasnt great, service was ok!

I feel terrible saying this as the gentleman working there tried so hard to please us. He was wonderful but we wouldnt return. The food just wasn't good they kept trying so again I feel terrible. My husband sent several things back as the taste wasn't right. I understand its fish, but when it smells and tastes fishy it isnt great!

Unprofessional...

The restaurant is located in a failed mall in Selden. Interior design is OK. We purchased a Groupon to entertain the whole family. It was not accepted because (ostensibly) if was the 4th of July. We drove some distance to get there, so we felt really let down by the staff. What's more interesting, the restaurant was pretty much empty. They could have customers but they chose to stick with a weird policy that was NOT described in any fine print anywhere. Zero credibility and it just didn't feel professional. Not going back.
