We decided to stop at Jumpin' Jacks for lunch (a short side trip off the bike trail). Since we got there right at lunch time we did have to wait awhile in line (moves fast) to place our order. We enjoyed some cheese burgers, chicken, onion rings, french fries and their really good milk shakes! Prices are reasonable. Unfortunately this... More

Between the Tuesday nite ski show and the Wednesday and Saturday concerts, there are a lot of busy nights at Jumpin' Jacks. Plan ahead. Go early. Scope out a place to sit and send someone to get the Jack burgers while you people-watch and save the spot! Ice cream afterwards is a classic soft serve. Vanilla. Rainbow sprinkles. Why not... More

We hadn't been here in a while. The food was okay, nothing special. We don't usually order onion rings, but as a special treat, we did. They were mostly breading, very little onion in them! Cheeseburgers were decent. It's nice to eat outdoors when the weather is nice though.

Try to get there once a year as a tradition. Though every time I go I wonder why. Yes, the food is good, but the cost is high for what you get. Plus, if you stay there to eat, the picnic tables are dirty with birds and bees flying all around you. High chairs are dirty as well. I think... More

They have hands down the best cheeseburgers and the ice cream is also amazing. I love the different special of the week flavors

I know that this establishment has been a place for locals to frequent for years! We were told about Jumpin Jack's by some co-workers who are originally from Schenectady. Whenever they go back for a visit, they have to make a stop here. So, when we found ourselves in the Scotia, NY area, we had to try it! I actually... More

This is a generations-old drive-in restaurant. You don't go here for the food as much as for the experience. It will feel a burger and shake joint at the beach... without the beach. The fish sandwich is actually really good and the onion rings are worth the calories. The rest of it is pretty average if you're just judging on... More
