Try to get there once a year as a tradition. Though every time I go I wonder why. Yes, the food is good, but the cost is high for what you get. Plus, if you stay there to eat, the picnic tables are dirty with birds and bees flying all around you. High chairs are dirty as well. I think... More

They have hands down the best cheeseburgers and the ice cream is also amazing. I love the different special of the week flavors

I know that this establishment has been a place for locals to frequent for years! We were told about Jumpin Jack's by some co-workers who are originally from Schenectady. Whenever they go back for a visit, they have to make a stop here. So, when we found ourselves in the Scotia, NY area, we had to try it! I actually... More

This is a generations-old drive-in restaurant. You don't go here for the food as much as for the experience. It will feel a burger and shake joint at the beach... without the beach. The fish sandwich is actually really good and the onion rings are worth the calories. The rest of it is pretty average if you're just judging on... More

After reading and hearing about Jumping Jack's for years, we decide to visit it. The best things we ate were the French fries. The Jack burger was a double patty, one with cheese and topped with mediocre coleslaw. Don't look for pickles, lettuce, or tomatoes to jazz up your burgers. They aren't to be found. Don't look for anything healthy... More

Friendly service. Worth a short wait in line. Burgers or cheeseburgers with sautéed onions the best (the famous sliders).

The food came out super fast but it was basic fast food. The portions were not very large. The cashier had a bit of a smart reply when we asked if they had refills. He said, "sure but they are not free". My wife asked how much they were, he said "same price as a new drink" so essentially they... More

This is my favorite fast food place anywhere. I started coming here 40 years ago, and still love it. I no longer live close enough to visit frequently, but enjoy it when I can get here. It is right beside the Mohawk River, and all seating is outside at picnic tables, under gazebos. Everything cooked to order amazingly quickly.
