BEing early for an appointment we stopped for breakfast. The place is amazing the decor out of the fifties and sixties. The food is what you expect from a diner a good quality at a reasonable price. Service was good and the waitress was efficient as she was alone for a pretty sizable room. It's a place with regulars but... More

I never tried this place until they moved to their new location. Bottom line is the food is very good and inexpensive. The servers are very friendly. The service can be slow at times but I've always had a great breakfast.

The funky 1950's decor gave us high hopes when we entered. We wanted to like this place. The food, however, was mediocre and the service abysmal. My husband's omelette was burnt and I couldn't figure out what substance was spread on my toast- it wasn't butter or margarine- odd color and awful taste; inedible. My oatmeal was good. The bad... I don't get the negative reviews. We found the Scotia Diner to be exactly what it's meant to be. A quirky, no frills tiny village local spot with some charm and some pretty good food. The staff were all polite, friendly and accommodating. The decor was, shall we say diverse and different. The place was clean. The food was good.... More

The only think that's is constant about this place is that the food is always bad. The place is dirty. It was nice and clean the first week it was open but since then its gone down hill fast. Thank goodness they put doors up where the kitchen is because the language that was flying out of there was to... More

The Glenville Queen is cleaner, brighter, better food, friendlier wait staff. I don't go to the Scotia Diner very often. I'm picky about where I eat. If I'm paying for it, I want it to be worth it. If I were traveling and hungry, OK, I'd eat there.

Loud dirty and the way the what I am guessing is the owner she talks to the employees! What a disgusting place. Maybe they should try mopping the sticky floors and stop worrying about her cell phone at the register. There was a man that kept walking from the back that just was horrific. If that was your cook he... More

Very disappointed with the woman who cashed me out. Very rude and nasty to the waitress. She screamed at the waitress because she made a mistake on my bill. Won't go back as I think she is the owner.

Fun little place full of Elvis memorabilia. Food is OK. Breakfast is best. Good for families. A favorite with locals.

This is a typical diner with typical food offerings yet moderately priced and great tastes. I simply loved their breakfast and excellent wait staff.
