In my opinion, the best lemon ice on earth. Made on site at the Jay street store for at least the past 60 years. You can buy this in pint and half pint containers to take home to the family, but don't taste it in the car as your family will probably never see any of it.

My daughter and I went to have a Tiramisu and a Gelato. They were both great. We also purchased two Sfogliatella to take home. These are our favorite pastry. My grandmother, aunt and I have made them throughout the years. They are a tough pastry to make and timing for backing and storing them has to be perfect. When we... More

This is the place to go in Schenectady NY to get the best of everything Italian! Fresh tomato pie, wonderful soups and sandwiches, Italian bread, pastries and to die for gelato!

Companion and I shared the best Italian mixed sandwich ever. It was served on Italian bread (sliced not-too-thick), and consisted of traditional deli meats and cheese of high quality, along with just the right amount of lettuce, tomato, roasted red peppers, and dressing. I wish I'd opted for lemon ice for dessert because I found the butter cookie to be... More

Have been there many times and always happy. I prefer the daily special sandwiches and a little desert. My kids like the Italian ice.

One of the best eggplant sandwiches in our area. Also delicious cookies and lemon ice. Very down to earth place to eat lunch.

Always have a great sandwich at this bakery. Staff is always friendly and the food is always top rate! I don't want to give a great review because I don't want to wait in line to eat here! Cookies and pastries are great too!

I just love this place. They have simple but quality food that tastes fabulous (but not so simple fabulous bakery items and desserts) and wonderful people making and serving it all. Great to run in quick to get something to go or to stay and eat it. Great sandwiches, amazing tomatoe pie, unbelievable desserts and delicious gelato too. Beware that... More

The atmosphere and camaraderie is amazing. The pepper cookies are out of this works. Pizza is amazingly old world in taste and style. Italian cookies simply the best. Everything is prepared and created from scratch right in their kitchen. You can taste the difference. Amazing job. Thank you to the Angerami sisters for your tender love and care.

The Angerami sisters have a one of a kind Italian bakery/cafe in Schenectady, NY! They use the best products and their baked goods, gelato, Italian ice, sandwiches, tomato pie (pizza,) soups, etc, taste like you are in Italy! Try their eggplant parm sandwiches, but order ahead, because they are so popular! Stop in for an espresso/cappuccino and pastry and great... More
