They are not limiting the number of customers, enforcing masks, or allow for curbside pick up. In addition, they have a number waiting system for items off the shelf and pre ordered ready to go cakes, increasing unnecessarily the number of people in the shop....Will not return. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!More

This narrow shop is easy to find with nearby street parking or parking garage. There are many delicious pastries, pies, cookies and donuts to choose to eat there or take home. Top it off with a hot cup of many fun tea choices. The line...moves quickly, and having an almost constant line indicates its goodness!More

I love Villa Italia and it’s desserts are excellent. However, in the pandemic they need better precautions. On our first visit since reopening the place had a sign about social distancing but it was crowded with 15 people. Some distancing marks on the floor and...some roped off lines would be appreciated. Moreover, one customer did not wear a mask. Masks should be provided and required for those customers without one. Finally, the person at the cash register had a mask but she wasn’t wearing it. Enter at your own risk. Too bad because their gelato, cakes, cookies, etc are great.More

Just entering Villa Italia one can’t help but smile, you’ll delight in the sight of an exquisite array of mouth-watering pastries, cakes, chocolates, and gelato! Since our first visit years ago, it has become our go-to bakery. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, however...on my last trip, I hit the jackpot with Sharmila. It was the day before Easter, I was shopping for our family and gifts for friends. I had quite a list and was so appreciative of Sharmila’s recommendations and patience. She made me feel like I was the only one in the store. Thank you for the red-carpet treatment! Friends were thrilled to receive what I termed “pastry baskets”, instead of Easter baskets, filled with a variety of sweets. Our family enjoyed croissants, apple turnovers, an assortment of goodies and a delectable chocolate cake! Whether it’s a holiday or my sweet tooth is a calling, it is worth the drive.More

If you like Italian pastries, this is the BEST ! I have been a fan for years. For special occasions, order a mixed tray of filled pastries... or just stop in for a coffee and a couple of vhocolate mice or canolis.

The food here is outstanding, and the customer service is great. I would highly recommend this restaurant whether it is for late night snacks or an early morning coffee.

We got pastries at Villa Italian - you get to pick the ones you want they add up quick to over a pound fast. The cookies and pastries are the best. Always a treat and not just to have at the holidays but any time.

Last year I worked a party in Schenectady that Villa Italia bakery catered and I had one bite of this cookie called an almond crescent and about died. lol Hands down one of the top 5 best cookies I've ever tasted. I got the bakery's...info and was prepared to order a few pounds of these cookies when I went back again this past October. Only this time I went into the actual bakery myself and also ordered a few other things. The place was packed and unfortunately the service was moving slow, but thankfully I pre ordered my cookies earlier that morning so I didn't have to wait long. So if you're in the area and you have a sweet tooth, Villa Italia is your stop for sure.More

Sunday afternoon my husband and I visited Villa. My choices were a carrot cupcake and pistachio gelato. Not only was the cupcake overbaked and stale tasting, any resemblance to carrot cake was absent in its bland flavor, and ungrained appearance. Where's the carrots? The accompanying...frosting, a vanilla creme confection cheated my taste buds. No cream cheese anymore? The pistachio gelato was peanut flavored. It was also green, whereas good Italian bakeries serve a natural colored tan color. Shame on the Mallozzi family for serving such inferior products!More
