Just moved out to Suffolk County & we were looking for a Cajun Restaurant. Did a search & this place came up. Menu looked good, positive reviews & is fairly close. So we gave it a try. Sat eve 6:30, place was fairly crowded &...noisy. Got seated, but although there were 3 other tables in the area being served, no wait-staff came over to our table. After 5 minutes, we asked the guy who brought the water & bread to get a waiter/waitress. Few minutes later a waitress came by. She didn't state her name said "sorry about that" & mumbled something that we couldn't make out. She took our order & flew off. Took awhile to get our drinks & when she returned, I asked what her name was. I think I caught her off guard, because she actually stopped & then said her name. Again she said something about a larger table & pointed to the other room. She seemed rather rushed. Now for the food - we ordered the Alligator tail appetizer, which was good. Couldn't really distinguish a specific taste other than the breading, however the sauce they served w/it was excellent. Sort of a creamy mayo/spiced ketchup. My husband had the Jambalaya - excellent & enough to take home for another meal. I had the broiled seafood platter, 2 of each-stuffed shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, backed clams, sea scallops & a piece of Tilapia, served w/julienne fresh veggies (Excellent - nice & firm - not mush that's been in the pot all afternoon) and jasmine rice. This too was a large portion - enough to share or take home for another meal. We will definitely go back. Maybe try a different night of the week.More
