Visiting from out of state, looking for a good cup of joe. This place not only has coffee of the day,it has about 5 to choose from. Also nice thick bagels. The pastries also looked great... Another day perhaps.

Don't bother with Starbucks (which I generally like) go for the original coffee shop in in the Spa city. The coffee is great, especially the house blend; the bagels are the best north of 125th Street and the confections are good at a minimum. I have been going to UG since it opened.

Catered a brunch for us this past Saturday and everything was great. Bagels were pre-sliced and delicious as always. Growing up on Long Island I take this stuff very seriously :-)

Salmon and cream cheese bagel,- big enough to share. Nice atmosphere, quiet enough to read or talk, comfy seating too.

As far as bagel and coffee places go, it is great! The service is quick as they could be for such a busy place. Wonderful atmosphere. Food is pretty good. Soups are usually excellent. Best hot chocolate in town too! I don't drink coffee so I cannot comment on that.

They roast their own coffee so of course it's great. They also have really good bagels and choices for egg combos. We got a Mediterranean which is egg, avocado, spinach, cheese, and pesto on a rosemary olive bagel. Blissful! A really neat thing they do is scoop out the inside of the bagel if you choose this and it creates... More

Takes you back to the 1960's and 70's in Greenwich Village, NYC. Nice selection of fresh pastries, rolls, quick bites, and, of course, coffees. Right on Broadway in the middle of town and just the spot for a break from the hassel. Seems to be a favorite of local folks.

They have awesome coffee and food. I love going here and so does everyone else. They've expanded a few years ago and it's still hard to get a seat!

stopped in for chai tea and bagel sandwich while in town visiting Skidmore. Fun spot, with lots of activity. The breakfast bagel sandwich was good. Service was friendly and quick.

Stopped in after walking around the main drag. Coffee was freshly roasted - French press was excellent. Better than Starbucks, and better prices. Nice seating area outside to watch the crowds. Never felt rushed.
