After reading trip advisor we decided to choose this restaurant for Saturday evening dinner. Made reservations on line 5:15 got there 5:10 seated right away! Awesome! Waiter immediately takes drink orders and provides bread. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar is standard on every table. Wait staff owner and bus staff all very attentive and always checking on you food was... More

We enjoyed our large family dinner there over graduation weekend. Service and food were both very good. Chianti was a bit crowded, loud and tight, but still well worth it. Definitely one of the better choices in Saratoga Springs.

The food is excellent at this restaurant. The scallop appetizer special was fabulous - we had to fight over the 3rd one. When my salmon came, at first I thought that it may have been overcooked because i'm used to my salmon being a bit more rare in the middle. It was extremely moist and tender - perfectly cooked. We... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this restaurant and will return. I am writing this review because I was surprised by the very slow service. My boyfriend & I enjoyed a wonderful evening & delicious food with friends. I wonder if at the end of racing season there is a decline in service and employees? Either way, I will continue... More

My fiance' and I made reservations prior to the Travers race from an online search I did about restaurants in Saratoga NY. We arrived 1/2 hour before and was told to have a drink at bar or whatever, so we sat a high top and the bartender (a jovial fellow) came over and asked "what's your pleasure?" We told him... More

When we visit this lovely town this is our favorite place to eat. Elegant with a large menu featuring fresh produce and fish. It also has outside dining and an active bar scene with a slightly older crowd. Pasta is a stand out. Fish has been excellent. Nice drink and bar menu. Also romantic. Of note on our last visit,... Based on reviews, we expected a terrific meal. We started with the fried calamari that was bland and rubbery. The dipping sauce that accompanied it was overly spicy. We each selected smaller portion pasta dishes which were very adequate portions. I had the penne with vodka sauce that I would rate as very good. My husband had the spaghetti with... More

Food good (but no Michelin star), staff excellent (Thanks Kevin) and decor 'typical Italian restaurant' with ebullient managers/ owners doing the rounds. Decent wine list - Saratoga prices but not over the top. But this is no place for a quiet romantic dinner. It has to be the noisiest, busiest restaurant I've been in for years. So loud initially we... More

I first have to congratulate Chianti for being so crowded when they are serving such average food. Also, staff is super friendly and nice. We ordered salad, an anti pasta dish (eggplant), and two pasta dishes. The salad was average at best, the dressing was balsamic vinegar, and not a chianti dressing as advertised. The eggplant dish was nothing special... More
