We use to go to Cliff's but finding it closed last year we tried Mangino's and loved it. So this week we went directly to Mangino's. What a great place, just wonder why it is not busy, other then out of way from the race track, but worth the trip. Great red sauce and pasta dishes and the garlic garbanzo's... More

Don't let the appearance scare you away, the food is excellent. Had a great dinner with my family, Seafood Fradiablo over pasta (Shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams) was delicious, and my wife; Chicken Sorrentino was out of this world. Great Pizza too, and the server, Angela was very attentive, friendly and quick. Would definitely go again.

Thought it might be nice to eat by the lake, but probably wouldn't go back. Nothing terrible, large menu, decent pasta with seafood, chicken parm, but pretty expensive for what you get. Too bad, great location.

Best sauce in the area. Older building that is dated but the food is top notch. Family run and has a great local following. People also come from out of the area because the food is good and reasonable.

I've been here twice, I really enjoyed the food, REALLY enjoyed the food... with that said, I wish they'd remodel inside or something, I feel like I'm eating in my "friends great Aunt's house"; obviously since I went back, the food IS THAT GOOD, but hopefully the inside is remodeled soon so the atmosphere rivals the food : )

Mangino's is one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to. Their sauce is so completely their own as we have never tasted anything like it. I believe it is made with fresh (not dried) oregano which is rarely used in restaurant sauces which are usually made with basil. Their prices are reasonable and you will start off... More

Food was OK. Not bad, and not great. The service was very nice. The place itself is a tired and dark place that is kind of depressing.

Mangino's is the coup de grace to end the day at Saratoga for dinner. Dozens of times have eaten there. (One time arrived very late, and waiter suggested we let chef cook what was left at end of day. Possibly the best meal the four of us ever had!) Always the best,. And now has an "Early Bird Special".

We were in Saratoga for Travers weekend and had not made a dinner reservation for one of the nights we were there. We happened upon Mangino's after trying many other restaurants that were already booked. I will agree with some other reviewers that the dining room has dated decor and could definitely use a face lift, but the food was... More
