This was garbage. The sushi was thrown together with some pieces the size of 2. Every piece of sushi tasted the same, bland nastiness. Most importantly, was the fishy smell. We decided not to finish and complained and all we received was a sorry and...a bill for the full amount. Regardless of the fact we (3 of us) didn’t eat 70% of our entire dinner! Kinjo has become a go-to spot for our family for takeout. Their hibachi dinners are excellent and the sushi is fantastic. We really enjoy everything that they have to offer.

You cannot order a bad meal here. The portions are worth the price. The freshness...amazing. Japanese bourbon and custom drinks. You will not be disappointed.

Went for the first time last week and the food was good although the rice was dried out in my sushi. The waitstaff wasn’t busy - there were only two other diners at 5 pm - but they were absorbed in their conversation so ordering...and getting the check took sometime. I hardly ever give 5 Stars, because there's always room for improvement, right? But, we found Kinjo to be very enjoyable. The service was good, the Hibachi chef was very pleasant and entertaining. We visit Japanese restaurants all the time. While the food tasted ok, we were expecting a friendly staff as well. The hibachi cook only asked how we want the steak. He burnt himself, made a mess all over the table and when we dropped a...shrimp outside my plate he picked it up and put it on my food. Waitress seemed so annoyed that we wanted to order. A friend recommended this, noting it was the best sushi he has ever had. That got our attention and we were not disappointed, starting with appetizers of: * Rock Shrimp Tempura - The best we've ever had with large, generous pieces of shrimp perfectly coated...with tempura and the spicy aioli. A pleasant surprise was the generous bed of mesclun greens the shrimp was served over. Fresh and delicious. * The shrimp shumai were flavorful, tender, generously big, and juicy...so good we ordered two. * The dumpling soup was loaded with fresh, crisp vegetables in a light, clean broth. The dumplings were vegetable in nature with a nice, smooth texture. * The sticky ribs were marinated in a five-spice marinade with an ample amount of sweet and sticky glaze. One of the best-tasting rib dishes we've ever had at an Asian restaurant and again, served atop a generous pile of gently sauteed vegetables and with a side of black rice. My Dynamite roll was generously big but the least dazzling of the meal...certainly not bad but not my cup of tea, a little on the bland side. But all part of getting to know a new menu. The miso soup was fresh and delicious and salad accompanying the ribs ice cold, crisp and delicious. This place is a GEM and should be experienced! Bonus: it's in a plaza and there's plenty of parking...a rarity in Saratoga Springs.More

Outstanding restaurant with very extensive menu, very entertaining chef and very good food. Hibachi steak and shrimp was really good. Will definitely go back and highly recommend to others.

My wife and I have been to this Japanese and Hibachi place before and didn’t see any problems with what we ordered. We visited again and both ordered the shrimp and scallops hibachi combo ($25 ea). They served the usual soup and salad appetizers. The...hibachi chef can’t to the came to prepare our meal, he served both rice and noodles. The chef then put some veggies on the top along with the shrimp and scallops. What immediately caught my eye was the amount of vegetables he was cooking. It was such a skimpy portion for two people I couldn’t believe it. All along I’m thinking why are they doing this. Load us up noodles and rice and skimp on the vegetables. It’s not that the number of shrimp and scallops were big portions. Also I thought the scallops were not very good. So now we are thinking twice about going back.More

In my quest to recreate the authentic Ramen I enjoyed whilst in Japan, I found one of the best here at Kinjo. The prices are reasonable for Saratoga, lots of parking. Busy and loud on weekends. I've had the Hibachi also which is wonderful! Staff...is friendly and professional. Large selection of Sushi if that's your thing. Lots to select from on the menu.More
