We went to Blue Moon Cafe for late lunch after hiking one of the Saranac Sixers. They had a sandwich special, the Haystack, beef on focaccia with lots of peppers and onions. My daughter had their BLT, which she really enjoyed. I had a caesar salad with grilled chicken, the chicken was cooked right, not dried out. They had six... More

We stopped here to feed our hungry grandkids. We were walking on the Riverwalk, and it was time to eat. Everyone was happy with their meal.

Lunch at the Blue Moon was wonderful. I had the seafood quesadilla while my husband and kids had wraps. Everything was delicious and the service was great!

We had lunch here on a somewhat busy Saturday afternoon. Table service was friendly but a little slow (we had to ask for our check and flag server down to pay); however, this might have been due to staff changeover? Not sure, we had several staff come to our table so not sure if they all just help one another... More

We never got that far! While seated & given menus a few minutes after walking in, that is as far as it went. My husband, two sons and I sat for 15 minutes without ANYONE tending to us. This was after watching two other parties who arrived AFTER us, getting service... and we didn't arrive in the middle of lunch... More

This probably is the best general restaurant on Main St, but also the only one unless you want pizza or Chinese, or want to eat in a bar. We did not wait long for our food but we did not enjoy our meal (lobster roll special)-it was tasteless, but since we were very hungry and the waitress did not inquire... More

We stopped in for dinner after a day of hiking. Food was satisfying and flavorful. That night they had a tapas special... We did enjoy the special fried green tomato dish. Yum. The regular menu had a wide variety of dishes, from salads to more hearty fare. We had the ratatouille which was served over a silky polenta and the... More

Passing by this restaurant our first evening in town we stopped by to peruse the menu to see if Blue Moon would suit us for our 2nd night in Saranac Lake. The menu had many unusual offerings so it appealed to us, being more adventurous eaters. We noted the premises did not have AC but since the temps were due... More
