Had been in town a few days and after driving last Nonna Fina several times I really thought it would be worth a try for dinner. Unfortunately neither the food or the service live up to its exterior appearance. I had the Veal Saltimbocca, which was average, at best. Service was on the lower side of mediocre.

Great food, nice ambiance, friendly staff. Ate here two times on a recent trip to Saranac Lake. The portions are quite large. Dined outdoors the first night which was lovely. The second night was cooler so we ate inside. Delicious fresh baked bread.

We were excited to try this restaurant after a local endorsed it. The restaurant itself was very nicely appointed. We sat outside, but a look around the dining room indoors showed a very lovely interior. But the food was merely average at best. The bread that came with our salad seemed like it went from the freezer to the oven... More

I won't go as far as saying the food is bad, but it's certainly not fresh tasting. Seems as though most of it is frozen foods. Nice staff, great views of lake flower from the patio, but the food could be fresher.

Showed up for dinner on a Sunday night with no reservation and were warmly greeted and promptly seated at a preferred outside table on the deck. Bargain priced martinis were good...emphasis on "dry". We enjoyed salads, warm bread and then entrees. The veal Saltimbuca was superb...our waitress, a recent transplant from New York City looking for a better life for... More

We had a great dinner! Service wasn't great but the food and outdoor seating made up for it! Alfredo was great and bread was awesome!

We were treated to fine Italian, more than ample portions, great service and a beautiful view of the Lake as we dined on the out front patio. Great ownership and very classy.

Scrumptious Italian cuisine served in a cozy atmosphere. In the summer you can sit on the patio with a gorgeous view of Lake Flower and the mountains. Staff is very friendly and efficient!

Huge portions, be prepared to share. Had the haddock Italiano it was quite tasty I could have fed three people! Perrone was cold and delicious service was pretty good.

....Exterior of restaurant still includes a drive-thru window from earlier days as a burger joint. The remodeled interior is inviting - and location across from lake is nice, too. ...Unfortunately, our dinners were a disappointment. Started with salads that were piles of very wet lettuce, with 2 olives, 2 cherry tomatoes & a splash of onion. ...Our Italian meals were... More
