A very short detour off the Taconic brought us to this modest, very good eatery. Our server went the extra mile and brewed us up a fresh pot of decaf. I had a crunchy and tasty apple walnut salad, and when I asked for tahini dressing, our server improvised by bringing the tahini sauce they had in house. My partner was contented with his fish sandwich and crispy sweet potato fries. Good value for money, pleasant service, and much fresher food than from a franchise!

Stopped here for a quick breakfast. It was convenient. Overall it was just okay, I thought the prices were outrageous for what they offered. The food was decent, but the service was subpar. Right away and brought my food anytimely manner and then sat down and had a long conversation with another employee. Completely ignoring the fact that I would have liked more coffee and perhaps some jelly for my toast. When I had finished my meal she finally came up and asked me if I wanted more coffee at that time I was ready to move on. I probably will not be back as I thought the value was very poor.

We were on the road and got hungary so I googled restaurants in the area. I came across Short Hills and we love little diners they always have the best food, so we ventured in. We were literally the only ones in the entire restaurant and one table outside so we were a bit skeptical. A young gentlemen named Mo (Mohammad) came over took our drink order and gave us menus, the menus were huge many selections and the menu was in hard plastic so it can be wiped off and attached to a clip board type holder was very unique. The selections were vast so I had a hard time choosing what to order as there were so many choices that all sounded delicious. My husband got the chipotle burger with fries and Coke slaw, I decided on the chicken pesto, mozzarella panini...let me tell you the flavor on that panini was to die for, the pesto had a great smell and the chicken was moist almost like a souvlaki chicken, and the cheese was warm stringy and yummy. It was grilled to perfection. My husband had the Burger which was huge juicy and messy. The fries were not greasy at all and it came with a small portion of Coke slaw which also had good flavor. The restaurant was very clean, smelled clean and looked relatively new. We were very satisfied with our meals and if we lived in the area would probably frequent often. I highly recommend this eatery, I'm sure everything and anything you order would be delicious.

The cafe offered outdoor seating, and had a menu with usual breakfast offerings with a few twists. I had two eggs over easy with fried pastrami, potatoes and toast. Exactly double what I could eat so took half home. The pastrami was an interesting surprise on a breakfast menu, and very good and lean. My friend had a western wrap that was also made with pastrami! Coffee was ok, not great. Tasted a bit like it had been standing on the warmer. Pleasant service.

Stopped for lunch on our way to the local wineries and really liked the place. I had a hot veggie wrap on a garlic wrap which I really enjoyed. No dip so I asked for a side of honey mustard. The wrap was however packed with veggies. DH got a Ruben and had no complaints. We both had half of our meal left over to take back with us. Space was very big. Staff very friendly and the food very very hot when served.

This place is easy to get to at rte 82 and rte 44. Diner setting with diner fare and a little more. The place was clean, I had a cajun chicken sandwich which was excellent and my mother had a turkey melt which she said was good. I was full, and the bill was reasonable for what we had. Service was quick and friendly. Breakfast all day too!

Diner food. Better than the average diner. Great service, Nothing fancy. For a restaurant I would give it a lower rating but for a diner, a bit better. We had falafel wrap (good), chicken wrap (ok) and chicken fingers (decent).

I had little expectations for this place and thought it might be empty. So I was pleasantly surprised to find a very spacious room and a nice lunch crowed. I chose a booth to sit in as many had. There was very little noise which was pleasant. The staff greeted me in a welcoming way. They brewed a fresh cup of decaf for me. I ordered eggs Benedict and they turned out to be nice with a light sauce Bearnaise, not something out of a can. The home fries were a bit salty but the eggs weren't, so it worked out well. The staff was ok, although a bit forgetful about my second cup of coffee. Overall an above average lunch experience.

The staff was very friendly. The food came out fast, our meals were delicious, and the servings were plentiful. I would recommend this new restaurant. They had a great diner menu. This is a nice addition to the Millbrook/Salt Point area.

We waited some time before trying this place. Great location for us and were hopeful it had been redone and cleaned from the prior owners. We visited on a snowy day so there were very few guests. The place has been redecorated nicely if not oddly. It was not a sparkling clean as I would have expected on a slow day. There were crumbs on the seats and a spoon under our table. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was good. Glad to have a diner close to go to again. Very kid friendly and breakfast all day menu is a good option for a stop off the Taconic on your travels.
