Very special brewery with taproom. They have entertainment in the afternoon with local and not so local fiddlers, guitar players, banjo and percussion. Some voice too. Semi permanent wood fired pizza oven is set up and cooks custom made pizza and wings. Very clean inside and out with tables set up for eating and easy listening. Enjoy!

Stopped here and enjoyed wood fired pizza and chicken wings made here on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They also had live music outside. The place is immaculate, and everyone was very friendly.

Taylor and Sons is an amazing spot in the middle of nowhere...(actually I love visiting the middle of nowhere, especially if they have such great brewed in house absolutely gourmet ales for such a reasonable price. Add to that an eyebath of a bucolic setting, weekends withWOOD FIRED PIZZA of fantastic, fresh, local ingredients, and many other pub type foods that perfectly compliment their beers. Love this place and will return many times.

I had been here 3 times with friends and last time brought my boyfriend. He did a tasting to decide what beer he wanted with the brick oven pizza truck that was there that day.We sat outside on patio and enjoyed good craft beer and pizza with local ingredients. They have a tasting room in Saratoga also but no food available unless you bring in something. They have certain beers you can take home also.

It was a nice sunny day and we decided to take a ride and try out the tap room in Salem NY and we are glad we did. It is a beautiful drive and the beer was great. We hope to go back when there is live music as it is a very nice property. They have a great beer selection so take a drive and enjoy.

Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Very welcoming atmosphere. Had a British pub feel with welcoming families and well behaved dogs. Tried the English Ale and enjoyed it greatly. I plan to come back next week.

We live about 20 from R.S. Taylor and Son. I love craft beers, but my husband is a fan of Budweiser. Hubby suggested a trip over because it was such a nice day. I LOVED the red ale (Radical Red, or something like that), and had 2! (Hubby drank a coke and a water). We each had an incredibly delicious sandwich. I had a mozzarella and tomato sandwich, and my husband had a roast beef sandwich. I LOVED them both. I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches, but I'd eat these every day if I could. I know this is going to sound funny, but they we served on long, rectangular plates, with the sandwich over to one side. The other side of the plate was screaming for a potato chip...but there were none there. That would be my only complaint. (And if that's my only complaint, than my life is pretty good! LOL). Anyway, it's a great spot, with delicious beer, friendly people. I highly recommend it!

This place was ok. The beer was decent - I really liked their 2 ales and their brown and cross-eyed Mary ok. The food was so-so I had a BBQ brisket sandwich that was ok but had too much sauce and the meat was tough. My wife had a salad that was very good. It was VERY clean. The atmosphere lacking. It's small so seating can be difficult. There were no stools at the bar. There's a nice fire pit but the female owner was talking a lot about weddings and money so it was a little uncomfortable to be the only ones there who didn't fit in. The music was good - rock/classic rock. As time goes on I think this place will improve. As it is, I would give it another try because I think they're on the right track.

A hidden jem in the hills of eastern New York that is worth finding. The choices of Small craft beer was amazing. The sampler is a good place to start to wet the appetite for whatever speciality flavor is your fancy. Combine your favorite beer and a great sandwich in an outdoor atmosphere that is hard to beat. This little spot is well worth the rolling country ride.

This place took me breath away. It was welcoming, fun, refreshing and worth the Sunday drive. The beer was delicious and the food we had was so fresh and tasty. Live music outside on a beautiful day. We had our dog and he was welcomed with water and hugs. The family who runs and owns it are far from rude. They are lovely welcoming people. If you have not visited here you must take the drive. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday afternoon and we will be back!

Mr Taylor has a great spot in the country the views are great. The brewery has a great selection of his beers and also hard cider and wine from other sources. The beers are great he makes a beer cheese spread that is also great. His wife has food on certain days which is terrific, overall great spot to try.

I met a friend for our first visit to this brewery! The drive to the establishment is half the fun. Beautiful countryside! The driveway meanders around to a beautiful building that houses the tanks and the taps. On this Thursday evening.... we sat in comfortable chairs on the back lawn listening to local musicians plucking the banjo, mandolin and violin! It was awesome! The beer was fantastic and the building itself is very nice, especially the upstairs room which is spacious! This specific night, the son was making hamburgers on the grill which hit the spot! Very memorable night!
