This place is small and not much to look at both inside and out, but its clean and service is friendly and fast. It seems like this spot is where the locals go. Our meals (bbq chicken and ribs) were very good.

Very drunk people, scary. Appeared unclean like a basement. No food that I was aware of. Most people drinking shots and playing pool

We were three couples staying overnight at the Seneca Casino, but didn't want to eat dinner there. So we had passed the Clinton on our way to the hotel and thought we might try it for dinner. We were so happy that we did! It's...the kind of place we love: low key, welcoming, great waiter - Connor , and great food. Connor was an amazing guy. He made us feel welcome and was very attentive. He got all the orders in fast and the food was delivered in no time. And it was so good! Home cooked meal. If you're in the area, stop by the Clinton. You won't be disappointed.More

this is the archtypical neighborhood bar. Food was great, service was great, prices were reasonable As an added bonus, I liked every song on the jukebox.. If you want a fancy dining experience, go to the casino. If you want real people, real food, this...is it!More

This bar has been open for many years. I never really had any food there but stopped in for a few beers recently. People do say the food is good. Next time I go there I'll get something to eat. It's easy to find being...right on the main road going through Salamanca. It's one of those old school neighborhood bars that are getting harder to find these days. I'm glad they survived all these years.More

Nice to find a friendly place away from the casino. Locals joint with friendly atmosphere and good food. Specials most days and karaoke weekly. Recommend if in town.

We decided to pull in for the chicken BBQ special. Friendly biker/sports bar atmosphere. The food really exceeded our expectations. Both the BBQ special and menu items ordered were excellent and a good value. Maybe not a family place, but out group of guys had...an all around good experience.More

I always stop by the Clinton when I'm at the casino or sometime during our yearly stays at the State Park. Met the owner's son while golfing in Ellicotville over the years, so that's how i heard about the place. The food is always great...and the waitress Gia is a sweet girl. She's super attentive and always willing to suggest things.Have tried the wings, various burgers and i love the pizza! Everything has always been great. Actually heading to the casino tomorrow with some buddies. We will be stopping in for sure! Nothing like this place where i live in the Toronto area.More

We always make a point to stop at the Clinton on our way to and from Alleghany State Park. The food is good and our favorite bartender Miles always makes us feel welcome. The owner is usually on site too. Bring cash or get it...from the ATM. They don't take credit cards. I love this bar.More

Awesome place! For a small hometown bar with food they really made us feel welcome. It has a bit of an Irish theme and a large menu of homemade food - none of that freeze dried stuff. All homemade fresh food. The barkeep really knows...how to keep his customers happy and chatted a bit with us about the food and the restaurant itself. It had a pool table, dart board, and computer game bar system. Drinks were well made yummy! I hate cauliflower, yet I got the broccoli and cauliflower planning to pick it out - i didn't it tasted amazing! The cole slaw was a vinager/dill flavor not your typical for us sweet coleslaw - very good! I recommend the chicken but my husband felt the Beer battered fried haddock was delicious. If we are ever in Salamanca again we will be back - too good not to be!More

We found tis little place by accident, coming back from a game in Buffalo. You will miss it's non-desrcipt exterior if you're not looking for it. The insie brings a fun crew of staff. The waitresses are quick to serve, polite, and accomadating with suggestions...and daily specials. The bartender engaged in humorous stories and sports talk with all the patrons. We have been in The Clinton on weekends and during with week, both with our older parenst and our teen daughters. We were comfortable with both family visits and the food has been consistently good! My favorite is the chili, and my husband loves the Chicken Parm Sandwhich. Weekends bring a lively crew that enjoy a great jukebox selection and good drink specials. It's been loud and fun, but always appropriate and respectable. I would definetly suggest this quick hop off I-86 for a fast meal in a great environment at really fair prices!!!More

More of a bar, good food can be had nonetheless. Stop here frequently when in town at the casino. Pleasant atmosphere unless you're claustrophobic. Quite small on space but always large on service. VG chicken wings, too. Weekly karaoke night and a good internet jukebox...that is sure to please. Reasonable prices and friendly bartenders. Cures the small town blues.More
