This is the only Sag Harbor establishment we would recommend. The views, the service and the food are worth the wait.

We walked over to the Beacon and were asked if we'd like to sit inside or wait 45 mins . Easy decision . Service was very good, but I wasn't that impressed after that. The bread was stale. The pineapple martini had a weird taste. The special sea bass was ok but nothing special. I know it's a popular place... More

We stopped in while in town and had a great dinner. Appetizers were soup, tartare and an iceberg lettuce salad-all done well. The entrees were outstanding with 2 salmon orders and 2 fish tacos. Service was a little slow start to begin with, but recovered well during the meal. it is a great setting on the water with food to... More

We had dinner at Beacon on a Monday night thinking it would be less crowded. By 6:45 almost all of the tables were taken and the bar was filling up. There is a good reason. The food is very good and the sunset is gorgeous. We were not disappointed. The restaurant does not take reservations but it is worth the... More

We rate this restaurant as a solid 4 star restaurant. Food is good and the setting is excellent. The only thing I will tell the owners is they should really think about capitalizing on the great water setting more by adding Nana Doors so the indoor dinning can be opened up to the outside when it is nice out. Everyone... More

Haven't been here in a couple years but came back and was not disappointed. Mussels and grilled octopus were excellent and the lobster rigatoni was also good. And the view is always to die for. Staff friendly. And no reservations so everyone on equal footing and got a table super fast anyway.

THE best meal I've had in ages! I had the lobster rigatoni and it was delicious! I also shared tuna tartare and the special of the day which was exquisite. Overall, nice ambiance by the water and the best Hamptons meal and probably best meal I've had in a very long time.

Service, menu, location is great. Sunset views great. It's always crowded with a line waiting for doors to open for dinner (530?).

One of those great summer days. Clean up and head out for dinner. Sag again. But this is a room with a view. It's a potential wait if you don't get there early enough but it is worth it. It's a lively bar scene that seems to embrace everyone. Sailors to socialites , locals and weekend party people. We sat... More

We opened The Beacon up, way back in 2000. It's been a great success since Day 1, only growing better with the start of each new summer. We've learned a lot along the way about what it takes to make a summertime-only Hamptons restaurant move and groove. As the light on the East End changes and a new season approaches, we are reinvigorated by the beauty our region provides us. The menu, the wine, and some of the faces may change every year, but one thing never does: our full attention to you.
