The best rack of lamb I've ever had. This restaurant is expensive but well worth it. The food was absolutely amazing.

Lunch on the porch on a beautiful summer day watching the constant parade go by is delightful. Food and service are very good. Fresh fish excellently prepared. The menu, however, is limited. Check out the charming interior and well-stocked bar. Historical building from the 1800's.

We love the old world charm of the rooms, the restaurant and bar are superb, and the staff truly amazing! It reminded us of Harry's Bar in Venice in all respects! Do not expect to find an... More

This historic building is the center of bustling Sag Harbor. It's a location that is easy to find and everyone knows. It has old historic charm with lots of tiny rooms and a popular outdoor patio. The bar is a local hot spot. We had lobster BLTs. They are excellent and they are generous with the lobster. I also had... More

White table cloth and formal dining area, the food was good but nothing to write home about. The fish is what to order as it near the water. Also they were out of half of the meats you could order.

I've had a love/hate relationship with the American Hotel restaurant for several years. It started with love, turned to hate, then intense hate, and now I love it again. It's all about the kitchen staff and I don't know who is back there but they are making truly great food and the service has always been excellent. I really hope... More

A group of Riverside Yacht Club members gathered at the restaurant in late July to share Long Island Sound crossing stories. The group numbered almost forty and we were entertained by a competent vocalist/pianist and dined on tasty appetizers (the smoked trout with horseradish and cucumber was excellent. We were offered two choices for dinner and most elected the filet... More
