We had a fun girls night out to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We ordered grilled octopus and spinach dip as appetizers. We tried some of the special martinis-they were all delicious. Dinner entrees were excellent and so was...the dessert.More

We ate here on our last evening during our visit with our daughter in Long Island. She spoke glowingly of it so we made a reservation. If you plan on dining here, keep two things in mind: expect to spend some time and expect to...spend some money. There was plenty of time between our “courses” even though things seemed to be quieting down in the restaurant. The food was exceptional but you are paying for it...not a place you would go at a regular interval, more like special occasions.More

Been doing take out here during covid and the food is always great with big portions. Place always seems to be busy when i go in there.

Multiple people told us to try this restaurant, so we finally did. We weren’t thrilled. The seafood was bland; the scallops were over cooked and the lobster took on the flavor of the steak it seems to have been cooked with as part of the...surf and turf. That’s a meal we often get elsewhere and usually enjoy the separate flavors. This was not our experience here. On top of it all, there was a sign on the door when we arrived stating they had lost their liquor license the night before. It would have been nice to have received a phone call ahead of time about that since we had reservations and they had our contact information; that would have given us an opportunity to consider other options. At the very least, they could have provided complimentary desserts to make up for it. Instead, you could purchase non-alcoholic mock beverages that were like drinking my kids’ juice boxes. The one thing I can say is the service of the waitstaff is fantastic. Those people are hard workers.More

I always wanted to go to this place and it was very disappointing. The bartenders were rude we had to wait long for our table even though we had a reservation. I would never go back the service not wonderful and to top it off...this rude woman kept bothering us to get up from our table that we were sitting at by the bar having our drink. I complained and nobody would tell that rude obnoxious woman to walk away.More

Visited this place after a family funeral for a sit down dinner this weekend. It was really nice inside plenty of parking out front. Unfortunately the service and food were lacking. Older blonde waitress had very bad attitude and spilled an entire drink on my...boyfriend and his shirt and tie. Didn’t even offer him a drink after that or club soda to get it out. The food made a great presentation big portions unfortunately the steak s were all over cooked and Tough and our group s order was completely messed up. I ordered Rare steak and got well done and everyone had the same issues over 30 people in our group and not one of us liked our food. This place honestly could be a gem if it had better Management and a better of Chef over seeing the orders. I wouldn’t recommend.More

We visited Spiro's on 10/24/2020, we were a party of 25. 8 of us had the steaks and none of us could eat them as they were tough, under or over cooked. Our waitress was a little rude never asked us if we needed anything...and only offered some people coffee. The waitress spilled a drink on my son in law which stained his new shirt and did not even offer him water or something to clean it with in passing she gave a "sorry" and kept walking. This was our first and last time to this restaurant and do not recommended it. For the prices they charge the food and service should have been much better.More

A warm and friendly crew moved our 4 person indoor reservation to an outside table to accommodate additional guests with compromised immunities, at the last minute.What a lovely set-up. Very pretty and comfortable. Next: each of us ordered a variety of food and were equally...happy with our choices! Attentive staff, without hovering~a feat in itself. I don't even remember the prices, so must have been quite reasonable (we had no drinks...to drive up the bill, but i got coffee & it was very good!)More

Spiros on 25a in Rocky Point has always been one of my favorite places to eat. I was extremely disappointed and annoyed on my last visit. I had called ahead to reserve a table outside and was told that only parties of 5 could reserve....When our party grew to 5 I called again and was told the party need to be at least six. Another person in our party also called and was told the same. Upon arriving, we were told there were no tables available outside. We noticed an empty table for five and asked about that. We were told “ that table was reserved” that we should have called for a reservation. We explained the situation. Ok so we agreed to eat inside. Two of us ordered the lamb and lobster tail combo. We had been looking forward to the lamb chops for weeks. That too a disappointment. They were cut very thin, very bland. I will say the appetizers ( calamari and bacon wrapped scallops) were wonderful as were the wonderful martinis. However I’m not sure it they are enough to erase the bad taste left by this experience. As said: very disappointed.More

Nice atmosphere, great happy hour! Restaurant is awesome but I almost prefer the delicious bar menu! Fun, tasty, reasonably priced food. Perfect for a night out with friends.

First time with friends who go often!! Now we know why - Sunday Lobster Special $85 per couple -delicious apps to choose from - we had amazing chopped baked clams and butternut squash soup - excellent !! then the lobster and crab leg dinner with...asparagus - also excellent and enough for two - then 3 desserts to chose from and all were amazing!! We will go back and often - on Sundays you can bring your own wine - no corking fee- Staff were fabulous!More
