Went for a friends birthday. The manager and wait staff were amazing Food was excellent. Such a variety of choices. Would definitely go back. Prices reasonable. If you are in Rockville center make sure you visit and say hi to the manager
I had been here multiple times but hadn't been in awhile so a friend and I stopped in for dinner one night during the week. We were seated immediately and given menus and the wine list. We began to talk and perusing the menu. It...is a French bistro, very popular and is a large square space appropriately decorated and clean. Since we went during the week, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. My friend ordered a glass of iced tea and I ordered a glass of Merlot. They brought this delicious bread to the table with the drinks. My friend ended up ordering from the appetizer menu and I ordered the mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. The waiters the night we were there were extremely accommodating and at one point a glass spilled on our table and not only did they immediately take care of it but brought over a replacement. Our food came and it was excellent. My friend was very happy with her appetizer choices and the mussels came in a large cauldron and were delicious. The mussels also came with French fries which were very good as well. Overall, the meal was excellent and reasonably priced. I would recommend and return especially since it was a good meal and the service was superb.More
I think someone else said the same review I read on this place. I walked in to meet someone for dinner.. a weekday so the place was about 90% empty.. superb staff... very quick with service but it could have been that the place was...mostly empty.... Food choice were satisfactory. Portions were a little small... pricey for the portions but the meal was fine taste. Good food, good service but pricey meal. Dinner for two and only one had a drink and one shared appetizer for over $100.... to me a little high for the meal and not in Manhattan.....More
We have been coming here for years and truly enjoy it. Tuna tartare, steak tartare, mussels, etc. - always perfectly prepared. Lately, we were unhappy with a “crabby server”. But tonight, we were so pleased with the wonderfully warm greeting we received from Michelle. She...smiled and laughed. What a perfect reception she gave us. And how helpful she was with the menu. Sunday is burger night. What a deal (Burger and Bordeaux). Michelle was flexible with my wife’s dietary restrictions and was warm and friendly. She gets it! If we could have Michelle as our server every time we might be here every night.More
I've been here several times over the past few years, and I'm always pleased with all the dishes. I've gone with a group, and also with just one other person. Last night, we went for a friend's birthday. The table shared the Aperitif salad, the...chopped salad, and the zucchini pancakes -- so good!! For my entree, I had the crispy duck legs with duck fried rice, for the third time, because it's that good! The waitstaff is always friendly and they let you take your time- they don't rush you out. In the past, I've tried many of their appetizers and have not been disappointed. Aperitif is a place that I know I can count on for being consistently great!More

I hadn't been to this restaurant in several years and my friends and I were in the mood for French food. No disappointments here. I had the baked cod , my friends had the salmon and the Roast chicken. We were all pleased. Good service,...fair prices and delicious food. We topped off the meal with the Tarte Tatin.More
My wife and I are both gluten-free and they have several options for us. We've been there a couple of times. The first time we had the mussels and a drink. The mussels are incredible and the drinks were very good. The next visit included...dinner. We had the mussels as our appetizer and split a steak and chopped salad. Both were delicious and the portion was enough for both of us. Finally, the have an outdoor garden I the back and the night we were there the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice romantic dinner.More

Went here with my family for lunch. We were surprised that not many people were there.We stayed and were happy that we did. Had a nice lunch and had good service, Onion soup was cheesy and delicious. We also had tuna tartare, chicken wrop and...salmon tartare. All were good. We will return!More
This is my second time at Apertif and it was just as good as the first. There are plenty of entrees to choose from, however I enjoy choosing the small plates/appetizers to feast on. Filet mignon tacos were topped with a vegetable slaw that was...incredible. Zucchini pancakes were served with a yogurt dill sauce and the flatbread with caramelized onions and prosciutto were perfect for the two of us. In addition, we each got our own salad and left there feeling satisfied but not over stuffed. Parking can be a bit difficult during busy times, so make sure you bring quarters for the meter.More

Sunday night also included live music. My Steak Tartar and Duck entree were delicious. The chocolate mousse was excellent.

Another great find in RC. A really good menu and the food is always great. The appetizer choices are definitely worth trying, especially the mixed board. They also make a really good Spritz,and have a nice martini selection. all told, a great meal every time.
