We took our daughter here for her birthday. The Sunday brunch was outstanding. French toast, potatoes, dessert and a bottomless pot of tea all for a reasonable price. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and inviting. The Tea Room itself is charming and whimsical. Our daughter had fun sitting for a real "tea party," trying out the various hats... More

The new location in East Rochester is nice. The decor is cool & there is a lot to look at. I enjoyed their beverages but I really did not like their Cesar salad. I eat any Cesar salad without complaints but this was just soaked in too much dressing. I could not eat it at all. If they improved their... More

Went with a friend to La-Tea-Da. Service was surly at best and the desserts were dry and tasteless. Despite the cute interior and theme, I won't be going back!

My earlier review stated lack of sandwich filling. I believe they even have less now. I couldn't even tell what was in the sandwiches. Couldn't even see filling. Scones were very good. Pastry tray consisted of a dipped strawberry and cookies that I've seen and eating from Sam's club. Nothing made there. I have made more elegant sandwiches for Tea... More

I drove by this place a few times before I realized it was a place to eat since it is in a unique location. I had never eaten at the Alexander location but I know some of the ladies from church liked it. I dropped in this past week and found the decor interesting with all the hats, dolls and... More

Four of us had high tea at $18.50 each. Two teas were lukewarm and had to be replaced. Sandwiches had little flavor (the soggy cucumber was the best of the three) and two of the varieties tasted almost the same and were sickeningly sweet with honey and brown sugar globs on top. Quiche was lukewarm and did not have a... More

La-Tea-Da is a great place. The food is good and the staff wonderful. However....East Rochester is a bit of a strange place to locate an English Tea Room. The demographics of East Rochester just don't seem to fit. This place belongs on Park Avenue or nearer their old location around East and Alexander. The village of Fairport or Pittsford would... My Sister and I took my Mom there for lunch last week. It was our first visit to their new location since they re-opened after the fire on Alexander St. Maureen, the owner, always makes visits a fun and enjoyable experience. She has tried to recreate the fun, nostalgic feel of the old La Tea Da of Alexander St and... More

This tea room is so much fun! They have hats and boas to dress up with, especially great with kids. They have numerous teas to choose from and the sandwiches, etc. are very good. They had a fire in January and will be moving to East Rochester soon.

Decided to have a day out with my daughter and granddaughter at La-Tea-Da. It was our first time and we were pleasently surprised. We had lunch in the "Alice in Wonderland" room. Everything was decorated so quaint. We were even encouraged to "dress-up". Lots of princess outfits for little girls and jewelry and hats for the big girls. It was... More
