1st visit. Asked what's recommended. Had wings and a brisket sandwich. Was fine. Not rushing back. Server was very good but rushed.

These were some of the best wings I have ever had! Plump, crispy, and tasty! We had (2) orders of 10, then a half order of 5. Our favorite was the Tavern BBQ sauce, which was excellent. The Garlic Parm wings were also delicious. We...had a couple of sodas and GE bill came to $59 with top. This was a bit expensive, but they were worth it!More
I used to frequent this location very often, as of late the service has been very poor if lack luster at best. I tried calling for over 45 minutes couldn't get ahold of anybody, then showed up at said location in Fairport New York stood...there for 20 minutes didn't even get greeted. I do not recommend this restaurant spend your money somewhere else.More
Four women stopped on our way to a show. We each ordered a different entree so we could each get a taste of all the unique dishes on the menu. We ordered the Mahi, Mango salsa tacos, Beef post pie, turkey tips and a wing...platter. Let me tell you that every single thing was delicious. I can't tell you what I liked best. We ordered salads as our sides for a minimal up charge. The service was excellent and prices are fair. When I go to a bar or tavern, I don't expect much from the food as it is usually all the same bar food. But, Jeremiah's has that and much more. We ate every bite and couldn't even try any dessert because we were all so full. They greeted us pleasantly at the door, we were seated immediately because we arrived early so we could make the show. The waitress was efficient, friendly and available. She never missed a beat for refilling drinks or getting us extra napkins etc. We will go again when we visit Rochester. We would definitely go more often but we live 90 minutes from Rochester and only go there when we have a reason. Thanks for a lovely dinner and surprisingly excellent experience.More
Fun tavern with a nice patio. I had delicious chicken vegetable soup and wings that were ok. My partner had a very mediocre Philly Cheese steak. It was a nice Eve to dine outside but the food needs improvement
Went on a Saturday night for dinner with family. Had reservations but this did not help our service. Not greated when we entered. They clearly where understaffed for a Saturday night. At the bar it took 20 minutes just to put in a draft beer...order. When seated we waited 30 MINUTES for draft beers. I understand it was a Saturday night but it seemed like staff was overwhelmed. It was no fault of our waitress she had to continue to apologize for the slow service. It was very frustrating. Have been in the past and always enjoyed ourselves this particular night was really really bad. I have to say other locations made this home base look horrible. Better service at other locations. This homebase restaurant was despicable.More
Great atmosphere - bar/pub with great service. Fabulous food - try the wings, french dip or mac and cheese. Always a laid back atmosphere. Great for meeting friends for a nice lunch. Usually can get in on Fridays if you get there at noon or...sooner. Just a minute or two from 490. Parking has improved over the years. Penfield location good too with updated interior, larger seating, better parking and private rooms. Monroe Ave location is classic orginal and close to downtownMore
If you like noise, average pub food and lots of TV's you will love this place. Just another look alike sports bar.
We stopped in for a quick snack on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered drinks, which were delivered promptly, however the water I requested did not appear until I asked again. We ordered wing dip (very very dry), and pretzel with beer cheese. The beer cheese was...a congealed mess. We mentioned this to our waitress (also the bartender), her response was, "well, sometimes when they get it too hot it separates", SERIOUSLY?! She never said sorry or can I get you something else. When she came to clear, I said, "Maybe you should tell them if it looks like this they shouldn't serve it. No comment. We will go to MacGregors next time.More
Can't say enough about the food here. Great, solid tasty food. Monica who was our server today was gracious and attentive.
Had lunch at the bar with my spouse today. Tiffany, our bartender and server, was outstanding. I had the French onion soup and substituted provolone cheese for the Swiss cheese. The broth was delicious. My husband had the extra crispy wings served with bleu cheese,...celery sticks and carrot sticks. He also enjoyed his food. Love the atmosphere here. See you soon, Tiffany.More
The best tavern for wings and bistro food in the upper Monroe area . They have wings categories from mild to ballistic heat . Plenty of blue cheese and celery on the side . Great salads . Not a good place for kids or vegetarians....Great people watching ! Meet the locals and enjoy a hearty meal and a draft ! Parking is tight on the street ,especially in snowy weather . They have a lot in back around the corner , so keep looking or wait for someone to leave . Handicapped access is tight but possible . Busy at lunchtime/Happy hour is packed so plan to arrive early if going for dinner.More
I know all too well, that if you eat out enough, you're going to have that occasional bad experience. Well, a Tuesday evening meal at Jeremiah's in Henrietta led to such in dramatic fashion - food poisoning. First of all, I would not be writing...this review if management took a more customer oriented response to my complaint. I had no interest in a free meal or any such compensation as the complaint recipient seemed to think I was out for. I just wanted to be heard and acknowledged, neither of which took place. So now I tell everyone about my experience at Jeremiah's, and wouldn't you know, I'm not the only one . . . .More
Our family has made Jeremiahs a staple for birthdays, family outings and gatherings for years. There have been changes since the Crosby family sold the restaurant and we miss them terribly. It used to be "the place where everyone knows your name", where the owner...came and sat down with you and asked how things were, and how was the family..........We wish we could go back to those times, but the new owners still make awesome chicken wings and great hamburgers and sandwiches. Definitely stop in, but that "extra something" that comes with a family involved in making your experience exceptional has left the building.More
We reserved for a table of 12 planning for a Fish Fry dinner. We do this often during Lent and have found that it is a challenge for a restaurant to get everything right. Jeremiah's did a great job for us this past Friday. The...fish was great and everything arrived in short order.More
