We were regular customers of Mario's and Brazil's. When Mario's closed we knew Brazil's would be our first choice for Italian food. They have not disappointed us and recently added an all you can eat salad bar with any entree purchase. It had three soups, breadsticks and pizza bites as well as a number of salads including regular and Caesar.... More

i used to love this restaurant, but our recent visit was quite underwhelming. i HATE the new renovation with the soup and salad bar... completely ruins the atmosphere. i enjoyed the "homeliness" of them bringing a big bowl of salad and breadsticks to your table, now you have to go to the bar. i also was at a table near... My family and I have been going to Daniele family restaurants for dozens of years, but it seems like the run has come to the end. Our visit this week was not good overall, including slow service, fair food, and a value not up to par. There are great Italian restaurants in the Rochester area and Bazil has slipped into... More

I was too late for reservations on the web site, so had to leave a phone message, which was returned, and our reservation made. Nice to see the selection of local craft beers from Three Heads, Lock 32, Knucklehead and others. Samples of 2 IPA's were quickly and cheerfully provided. I was pleased to see access to the salad bar... More

Great service. Food was yummy by all accounts. Nice salad bar! Good for adults and kids alike. Not gourmet food by any stretch but good at what they do. Would definitely go again.

There are so many Italian restaurants in the Rochester area. Everything from upscale to family run places. Bazil's is right on Empire Blvd overlooking the bay. We sat outside & enjoyed a pleasant summer early evening meal. Salads were fairly standard-nothing exciting but they were fresh tasting. Pastas were cooked mostly al dente, but the sauce with my chicken French... More

We went to brunch this past Sunday. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server was named Nickolas and he explained the buffet set up. The buffet was good but does not compare to the one that Marios had. But for the price it is a good value. Nickolas did a nice job.

Portions are very generous and flavourful. Wait staff always friendly and helpful. Build your own pasta dishes always a favourite and in the colder months the unlimited soup and salad are a good bet. The setting is quite pretty, especially at the end of a summer day, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Good warm breadsticks and salad served family style but don't fill up on that great staff and good ambiance very casual... More
