Great food if you want a table space you better get there by 11:30am . You will always find somebody to talk with because how the seating works 10-12 customers at same table

It’s been awhile since we were there, everyone has a new work schedule and catching up is tough. No matter what we always have a good time and the food is awesome. If they had delivery service I would probably order 3x per week.

Food was good and atmosphere great, for authentic German food this is the place to go. Had to wait a little bit for a seat, but the takeout was fast.

I took my family to the restaurant for an authentic German meal. The sauerbraten was tender and delicious. Everyone raved about their meal. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My rating is based on the experience even more than the food. Don't get me wrong, the food is good - classic German style. But the place itself is just so unexpected. The communal tables and cramped but cozy atmosphere are a big part of...More

We stop on Saturdays after visiting the Rochester Public Market. Sometimes we stay & eat lunch - otherwise purchase sausage & Rib eye steaks. They have the best Red Cabbage around!

A genuine German deli/restaurant. Schnitzel with sides and a good beer make Saturday worth waiting for all week.

Great German food and beer. But on the last Friday of the month at lunch , they have an accordian player who plays the traditional German song...ziggy, ziggy, ziggy Hoi ! Hoi! Hoi! , etc.You sit with fellow customers and it's a ball. Vegetarians should...More

Actually, most of the sausage are made of pork not beef. Only a couple are beef.

All of our tables are communal, so you can sit just the two of you and keep to yourselves or chat with the people seated near you and meet some great new friends! It works well for both! Hope you come in soon!!

Description
All meat at Swan Market is hand-cut, all sausage hand-made by owner Barry Fischer, who apprenticed with German master butchers to bring you a taste of Germany that's authentic down to the last detail. Swan's renowned German lunches are served Wednesday through Saturday from 11 to 2. Grab a seat at one of the communal tables and hoist a glass of imported German beer. It's impossible to go away hungry! There's also live German music on the last Thursday and Friday of each month. Wan can also cater events of any size, with anything from cold-cut trays to a full pig roast.
