My wife and I arrived at 5:30pm for our reservation to a mostly empty Dining room, they were not busy at all. The waiter and the service seemed great right off the start, but went down hill fast. The fresh warm bread was anything but...fresh and warm. the stuffed mushrooms and rice ball was not hot, warm is a stretch to say but I will say it was not cold, They both did look great. Our main dishes came out the same way just barely warm but looked great but not even close to a proper temperature. The final straw for me was when I looked at the bill and was charged $1.50 for one ice cube in my straight bourbon, they charged a dollar fifty to put 1 ice cube in my bourbon. I will never return to that restaurant again.More

Upon recommendation during a visit with my family in Riverhead last month we got a chance to sample the delicious menu offerings. Let me just say it was some of the best pizza I have ever had. Coming up from Florida where good pizza is...not only scarce to say the least but mediocre, I was soo excited to be back where the pizza is king:New York. I had the chicken Marsala slice and it was to die for. We all were pleased with everything we ordered. I had great service and interaction with my new friend Brian M. He really outdid himself and put together a dessert for my daughter and I that was pure heaven!! At first I felt a little intimidated by the vibe there but I quickly shook the “tourist” thing and got into the ol N.Y. banter that I remembered as a kid when I used to live there. Thank you for a great experience Brian! My family really enjoyed it!! Laurie Harper,St.Pete,FL.More

This is certainly one of the most difficult reviews I've ever written. I don't like to write negative reviews. The restaurant is new (a week old) and the people are very friendly and helpful, but our experience was simply terrible. It took the best part...of 30 minutes to get anyone to wait on us; and another 30 minutes to get a bottle of wine we ordered. My wife ordered Bucatini, but they brought out spaghetti and apparently hoped she wouldn't notice the difference. Our wait person, Brittany, was wonderful, and felt terrible that everything was going so poorly, but there didn't seem to be much she could do about it. We discussed the problems with the kitchen manager while waiting for the bottle of wine (the third person we asked about the wine) and he apologized, and said "we'll make sure we do take care of this" - but he never did anything. When we asked about the Bucatini, they said they had run out it (how does an Italian restaurant run out of dry pasta?) so we ordered something else, but that ended up taking so long we left before it came out (this was after literally 2.5 hours). The whole time the kitchen manager was in the dining room schmoozing with customers (he mentioned that most of the customers were friends and neighbors) - while the kitchen was apparently running amok. Good plan. I'd like to give them another chance, being a new restaurant, but that experience was so bad I doubt we will. Good luck.More
