We have never dined in to Village but we order from them at least every other week. It is so far the best delivery pizza option in the Rhinebeck area! Sometimes the phone ordering can be a little abrupt but the food is worth it....The garlic knots are great. You can't go wrong with a large cheese pie. We have entertained vegan friends who love their Vegan options with the eggplant. Their gluten free crust is also pretty good. The penne vodka is really delicious too. Overall you can't go wrong!More
We were pleasantly surprised with Village Pizza. We stopped for lunch while shopping in the town. So glad we did. Pizza was excellent, crust was not soggy and not burnt, crust was done perfectly. Enjoyed so much went the next day for a late lunch....Food was delicious. Penne ala vodka was very tasty and linguine with clam sauce had so many clans could hardly see the pasta.More
We stopped in for lunch as we walked the little town of Rhinebeck. What a gem and so is the owner, Al. First his pizza was delicious. Who think you would fine excellent pizza outside of NY City. As it turns out, Al is originally...from Brooklyn. Loved it so much we back the next day for lunch. We had penne ala vodka, linguine with clam sauce and fettuccine Alfredo. So good and don’t get me started on the ice cream and desserts. Must place to go. Al is a great guy and super friendly owner.More
I always come to Village Pizza during the Sinterklass parade for lunch. Their pizza really warms you up on a cold day and it was cold that weekend.
Their sauce is what makes the pizza. It really has a lot of flavor and there is...loads of cheese on the top. Even as fast as they were making the pizza it was sold out so it was really fresh. Their pizzas and subs are always consistent.
The family that owns the pizzeria is really nice and the service was wonderful even on a busy day.More
Pizza joints are so different and funny as you move up and down the East coast! The food was great, the beverage offering was awesome, the staff was absolutely amazing (meet the entire family!), the "atmosphere" was as you might expect - a little "basic"...(but totally appropriate!), totally clean, spacious and a great experience. More of a personal note: going from pizza places from FLA to ME, NYC and upstate, it is fun to me to see the different styles and how they change with latitude. I love/loved this place and would be anxious to go back if I was any closer or there again anytime. Thanks to everyone there!More
My wife and I stopped for lunch at Village Restaurant and Pizza and were not disappointed. The entire staff was friendly and the service was good. I opted for a turkey sub and my wife had a hamburger and fries Both meals were excellent. They...have a nice menu and we will go there again. Reasonable prices and good service and food.More
