This colonial era inn is quite interesting, but I am not sure the food quite lives up to the setting. Had Sunday brunch there---the food was good, the service was pleasant, but it was certainly not superb in anyway. I found it one of those restaurants that does everything okay and there is no reason to complain, but on the... More

We stopped by on a Monday night before dinner to check out the bar because it was recommended. We found three lovely local women willing to talk to us about the tavern, the town and recent news. We had a great time chatting with them and the bartender. I highly recommend that you stop by the Tavern for a drink... More

The Tavern has great history and the tight quarters are authentic stage stop. Good for a drink before heading out to see more exciting venues. The cafe or restaurant that adjoins cannot compete with culinary competition in the area.

Came down to Rhinebeck for the day, enjoyed a late afternoon lunch at the Beekman Arms, got to sit outside. First visit to the Beekman Arms, very nice.

Great food! Went for dinner on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. Large portions left little room for dessert, but we couldn't resist and took the plunge...yum!

We live in rhinebeck and often go there for their tavern burgers. But tonight was different as we were celebrating 38 years of marriage! The moment we were greeted by the hostess we knew it was going to be a great night. Our server was attentive and interested in making this a special night for us. The shrimp cocktail was... More

After attending a craft show Saturday at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds , we choose this historic inn to dine. As it was a glorious summer day we choose to sit in the greenhouse where we had outstanding service. My husband and I started out with wonderful tasting soups: clam chowder and squash. I enjoyed the crab stuffed shrimp and flavorful... More

We had dinner at the Beekman Arms tavern on our first night in Rhinebeck. We ate in the greenhouse room, which was a very nice space and amazingly empty (eventually a couple of other parties came in). The food was very good. Service was good, prompt, and friendly.

Not only are you in the historic, "The Tavern at the Beekman Arms", you are treated to some of the best food around along with a great selection of beers. You can have a beer and burger in the oldest tavern in America and if you so desire, you can have a nights stay at the Beekman Arms. Great little... More

All the meals prepared at the Beekman Arms Tavern are uniquely delicious. The chefs are trained at the Culinary Institute of America so the dinner are seasonally inspired creations by up and coming chefs. Dinner here is always amazing.
