I went with colleagues for lunch. The server was pleasant, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. It took about three times longer for everything to happen than it should have - too long to order, to wait for the food, to get the check. I might go back but I would have to be with someone... Pluses: space is charming. Reservations and service were good. Not so much: evening lighting in the atrium was too bright and cool - more like a workshop than a dining room, and actually set me on edge. Consider warmer and softer, and perhaps Candles at dinner. Food: pluses - yummy cornbread and coleslaw. Minuses: soup scalding hot; pulled pork was... More

The food was traditional and very good. The setting is terrific; an authentic colonial tap room. We enjoyed drinks outside on a beautiful autumn afternoon. A good experience all round.

We went to the Beekman Arms on a whim for lunch. What a wonderful surprise. I sat down with my sister and 9 month old daughter and we had a great time. Shared a beet salad with goat cheese and roasted beets(reminisce of Gigi Trattoria's) and each had the salmon entree over quinoa. It was all great. Service was ok.... More

Lovely old building and easy to find. Has pkg. I had the stuffed shrimp. When I complemented our server she said it was a crowd favorite.

While visiting FDR's estate in Hyde Park, NY we had lunch in the nearby town of Rhinebeck at the Beekman Arms Inn. The Inn is the oldest operating hotel in the U.S., and while we didn't stay at the Inn, lunch in the quaint colonial tavern was absolutely delicious. My date and I ordered different sandwiches to share and both... More

Was served the biggest and most delicious club sandwich I've ever had. Lovely dining room in an inn recognized as the longest continuous operating in in the USA.

Nice place to have a dinner reminding you of the early days of America. Good parking in the rear, center of town. Lots to see of America history in area. For sure visit the CIA Culinary institute. If hou like the feel of American history you will enjoy a meal hear, I don't recommend the Chicken Pot Pie.
