Our meal was delicious and service very good. The old hotel lobby is very rustic and lovely. The tavern is a bit dark, but the food is good. We liked eating in the Garden Room best.

If you wish to visit the oldest still-operating Hotel & Inn in the United States come to The Beekman arms. This beautiful hotel sits in the heart of Rhinebeck which was founded in 1688. The hotel opened its doors in the mid-seventeen hundreds and is still open for business today. If you wish to experience a most delightful evening for... More

A lovely setting on a sunny day for lunch. You can sit at a table with linen and flowers under a shade in air conditioned comfort. The menu is good with a variety of sandwiches and salads. We ordered a glass of wine and the Coronation Egg Salad sandwich that is a specialty with a choice of a side. Unfortunately... More

You need to be hungry because the food is delicious and the portions are huge. The service was also first class.

Recently had dinner in the lovely and charming Garden Room seating area of the Beekman Arms Tavern. The food was very good.

Spontaneous brunch. It is a beautiful building. Food is good. I will definitely go again. Seemed a bit pricey and the portions were adequate.

A great stopover destination for lunch or dinner. When the weather is good, I recommend sitting at one of the several outside tables to enjoy the view, as you sip a glass of your favorite wine and munch on a fresh crispy salad or crab cakes.

This colonial era inn is quite interesting, but I am not sure the food quite lives up to the setting. Had Sunday brunch there---the food was good, the service was pleasant, but it was certainly not superb in anyway. I found it one of those restaurants that does everything okay and there is no reason to complain, but on the... More

We stopped by on a Monday night before dinner to check out the bar because it was recommended. We found three lovely local women willing to talk to us about the tavern, the town and recent news. We had a great time chatting with them and the bartender. I highly recommend that you stop by the Tavern for a drink... More

The Tavern has great history and the tight quarters are authentic stage stop. Good for a drink before heading out to see more exciting venues. The cafe or restaurant that adjoins cannot compete with culinary competition in the area.
