Had dinner in the greenhouse which was very nice. On a nice day/evening, they also have lots of seating outside. Started with a cocktail that was refreshing and then split the Wedge Salad which easily was enough for two and was VERY good. Our entrees...were equally delicious and well presented. Only disappointment was I was expecting crepes for banana foster dessert and it was a large sundae with sauteed bananas. And of course you can't beat dining in such a historic location.More

It was a gorgeous day when we came for lunch. We had a reservation and sat at a table with an umbrella outside. We had a party of six and ordered a wide variety of food------hamburger, reuben, macaroni and cheese, BLT, and club sandwich. We...had great service and all enjoyed our meal and our surroundings.More

Worth a visit for brunch, lunch, or dinner! Had a delicious Sunday brunch outdoors on the lawn to a musical duo. Our server, Stefan, was an added treasure! The pot pie and chicken club sandwich were scrumptious! The drink choices and wines were exceptional! Would...highly recommend this superb tavern in Rhinebeck!More

The Tavern at the Beekman Arms is a nice place to dine in Rhinebeck. The food is good, although the menu is limited. My husband enjoyed the salmon with saffron rice, while I opted for the short rib pot roast. We especially enjoy dining in...the greenhouse area where it feels like one is outdoors while being in a temperature controlled environment.More

This was a second visit but, on this trip, the food was less fresh and less tasty than the last time. A classic location for locally sourced ingredients. Room was too cold to be comfortable.

To be honest, we ended up eating here because we did not have reservations four any of the other restaurants in town. We were expecting average fare. Luckily, we were pleasantly surprised. My friend and I both had cocktails, which were made out of the...local rye. They may have been a little light on the alcohol but they were tasty. The tomato and corn soup was delicious and completely unexpected. It was more like a cold gazpacho, I was expecting something warm. Regardless, it was refreshing, well seasoned, and really delightful. My friend and I split the iceberg lettuce salad. The blue cheese was an excellent quality and the serving was fine for two. I have the New York strip and my friend have the prime rib. Both were cooked to order and of decent quality. My only complaint was the bread served with dinner was a little stale and service was a little slow. Our server was quite efficient end responsive, but not particularly attentive. For example, several times our water glasses needed to be refilled and there was no one around. We were able to eat on the lawn, which had the feeling of eating in a garden which was quite nice. I would return again.More

Really wanted to like this charming tavern located in the historic Beekman but it simply was not the case. We dined inside the bar area where our server was also the bartender. I’d say it was safe to say our server had more interest in...the bar gang than our table of two. Disinterested. Except when an assistant manager came by to clear our plates. Hmmm. Food: I did not like the Turkey panini I ordered at all. I probably should have sent it back. My husband had the tavern burger. It was good. Fairly priced. The house cut fries were a highlight. Glad we tried it but no reason to return.More

Great location in the center of the quaint town and quite intriguing to see the historic indoor tavern rooms. I can picture having a hot toddy inside the tavern on a cold, snowy day. Sitting outside on the lawn on the rickety chairs and tables...would be what one would want at this time of year. However, I can't recommend any of the food we ate. After our first order, the waitress came back to inform us we would need to order again......they were out of what one of us had ordered. Best I can say about the chicken pot pie is that it sounded better than it tasted.More

Came here with friends for brunch over the summer. The food was very good. The service was also very good. It's a beautiful location in Rhinebeck. Would recommend checking out!
