We had to make a reservation and glad we did. The building is interesting and the service and food very fine.

My husband and I found this gem on our trip upstate. We were looking for a place that we could have lunch with our dog and I found terrapin on a website. So glad we went, we sat in the patio and enjoyed a terrific lunch. I had the build your own sandwich, with duck confit, bacon, avocado, manchego, and... More

With a diverse, interesting menu and sidewalk style eating arrangements, a great place to gather for lunch. I had the short rib tacos and was shocked by how good such an inventive pairing it was. My entire party was pleased with everything we ordered.

Had an incredible burger. Sat outside. Issue I had was that there was an issue with bartender..whether he or she wasn't there or some other deal. Long wait for a beer. Waiter kept apologizing.

If you are in town past 9, this is the only place to go (the town rolls up the sidewalks at 9 even on weekends despite the big NYC clientele). Therefore, I have been here a few times already! Fun atmosphere at night because service is only on the bar side. Good menu options for snacks and drinks.

Best of all, the service from Patrick & David - outstanding. A restaurant is only as good as the people in it and they were warm, friendly & attentive. Patrick made us feel like... More

It's fun to come to Terrapin and look for the architectural features that were part of the structure's previous life as a church. Service is friendly and attentive, and the food is very good. The mesclun salad was quite tasty, as was the fish special shared with my husband. We paired the fish entree with the Farmer's Market (Vegetarian) Crepes.... More

A former church with high ceilings made for a pleasant setting. The food was outstanding, but the price was as well.

Nice Meal with good Service. The service staff was very attentive. We did not want a full meal so cannot comment on appetizers or desert. Also we had a long drive ahead so we did not have alcohol. I had the special blue fish. Well prepared and quite tasty. My wife chose the tapas. Lamp tapas great....should have had more... More
