Eating at the tasting room was our favorite part of our visit to rhinebeck! Although menu options are limited this doesn’t mean you will be disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Loved the food and the interaction with the chef and staff. The food greatly overshadows the spartan decor and setting. We almost hesitated in going in to the restaurant when we arrived. The multi-course meal and the wine selection were both terrific. We plan another...trip soon to this restaurant, when we attend a performance at Bard college, which is nearby.More

The Tasting Room gives you the feeling that you are home or at some family organized gathering. Chef Daniel and Roslyn will greet with a relaxed and comforting exchange to get your started. The menu is short, but sweet in terms of what they believe...will be an enjoyable experience that day. All you have to do is allow them to guide your dining experience, from start to finish. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.More

This very small restaurant sits about 12 - the chef prepares what looks good to him. The food is ok, but we were claustrophobic by the end of the meal.

A group of us who live in the area went to the Tasting Room last night, and thought - OMG, how did we not know about this place and why haven't we been coming here all along? We were taken by surprise at the quality...of the dishes - both the beef and the fish were cooked to perfection! The desserts were unique and divinely scrumptious. It's an intimate experience in a small space below the chef's home (I think it's his home.) Very few tables in a funky, cozy, casual, space which makes the experience very personal and very down home. It's all about the food, prepared by the Chef a few feet away in his kitchen, and what a job he does. His credentials are impressive if you read the website. It is one of the pricier options in the area, but worth every penny. We will be back!More

I've lived in the area for four years and I cannot believe that this was my first time here!! My boyfriend and I had been trying to come here for so long, but our schedules never lined up. We called on the day of and...the chef kept the kitchen and restaurant open JUST FOR US almost two hours after the official closing time. The restaurant is small, but so cozy and sweet. You can watch the chef/owner prepare your food only a few feet away. I'm a bit of a ramen snob and was skeptical to try a ramen place in the hudson valley, BUT this meal truly blew me away. Order the pork belly buns as an appetizer--you will not regret it! 10/10 recommend that you even order some to go as well--they are THAT DELICIOUS! This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I cannot wait to come back again for another meal!More

This place is wonderful! A little hidden gem. They have a limited menu, but the choices are delicious. The staff and chef all work hard to make your evening a great experience.

My husband and I had passed the sign for The Tasting Room for years without actually realizing there was a restaurant there since it is a bit hidden off the road. We were spending extra time at our house in Clinton Corners this summer so...I found out about it while perusing Trip Advisor for restaurants in the area. What a great find! We had a very intimate and wonderful dinner there last week. The three course meal was very special- delicious, beautifully served, and with a lot of fun conversation with Roslyn our server and Chef Daniel. We started with Caesar salad and the little crab cakes and for a change ordered a chicken dish with a wonderful sauce and local chanterelles. Desert of a splendid baked “Nebraska” and a zabaglione was nearly to die for. Good wine selections served in a fun tasting manner. We are so glad to know about this place and will definitely return!More

There is dining then there is dining, I have eaten in restaurants all over the world, and in this small but quaint room i had one of my most memorable dining experiences ever. Do not for a second hesitate to try this place when you...are in Rhinebeck, NY. The menu isnt extensive, its just simply put " SPOT ON" Great service, great food and a dinner I will remember for the rest of my life. Will return! Locals if your not eating there your loss.More

I believe they have gluten-free options but you should call them as they have a different menu every night. I highly recommend going!
