After scheduling a neighborhood lunch at Suttons and having been assured TWICE, that separate checks were ok, we were not given separate checks. They REFUSED to change their position and in fact issued checks in groups of 4. They got orders mixed up and tried to charge people for food they didn't recieved. We will not be returning there for... More

Make sure you get get there before 11:00 for breakfast. My husband and I drove an hour to have breakfast at Suttons. We arrived at 11:10 (they stop serving breakfast at 11:30). We waited 15 minutes for the hostess to get to us and when she did she told us we could no longer have breakfast. So, I can't tell... More

Have been here many times , but disappointed with service this time. Stood for 10-15 min before being acknowledged. Out of their most famous toasted raisin bread. Food was still great.

There's nothing worse than returning to one of your favorite spots only to find that it's going through an overhaul renovation. To make it worse, we ran into a staff member who copped an attitude when we asked about the situation. The renovations are scheduled to be completed soon, but even still, there's hardly anything to browse and purchase.

We usually visit the Lake George area between 4 to 8 times a year and we try to visit Sutton's for either breakfast or lunch as often as we can when we are up there. Sadly when we went this time the business was under construction and they were open for business. The interior was dirty, carpet was dusty and... More

Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I ordered corned beef hash and eggs. I shouldn't have. The hash (which was canned)never was introduced to the grill and was barely warm. The wait time for the food to be delivered was 21/2 cups of coffee. long.

My eggs benidict were outstanding, however, my wifes hash & eggs were not good at all. The hash was canned & it seemed like they just plopped it on the plate before serving it. It looked quite mushy. Our waitress was attentive but the wait for our food seemed excessive.

We went here for breakfast and decided to try the basket of cider donuts. Hot, yummy deliciousness! I ordered the basic breakfast sandwich which came with home fries and a slice of perfectly ripened cantaloupe. My husband ordered an omelet and was thrilled to learn he could have it with either the standard home fries and toast or pancakes. He... More
