My husband’s Mango chicken was the only thing we ordered that was wonderful. The Pad Thai my daughter ordered was very different from any that we had ever had before. Certainly not what she had hoped for. Our friend ordered the shrimp fried rice and requested it hot. She said it tasted okay but was not hot like she wanted. My chicken with peanut sauce was very bland without much peanut flavor.

My husband really enjoyed his meal here of stir fried rice, my entree was ok not fantastic. A bit too salty and greasy. The restaurant is basic in surroundings, clearly it is a gem of the nearby college, also noted as it was open late for dinner. I would come here again due to convenience and reliability of food, knowing it is not a "foodies delight"!

Ambiance was nicer than expected with Asian touches and cozy booths.Menu had a variety of lunch specials and specials of the day. Word of warning about the amount of sugar that is added unless you specify when you order. I was not expecting a sugary dish when I ordered "sizzling fish". Another word of warning: "shrimp cake" appetizer is really
4 shrimp chips (like potato chips), with dipping sauce. The fried rice entree we ordered with a salad appetizer was delicious. Service was very attentive. I would return.

Atmosphere is dark. Table was sticky. Curry was watery and tasteless. Satay was good. Prices are cheap. Peanut sauce was watery as well.

Pad Mango was great Thai food in Poughkeepsie! Their late hours make it a definite go-to restauraunt for college students!

We came here for dinner web we didn't want to cook. Lots of options, enjoyed the green papaya salad to start. Chicken appetizer was ok, not too exciting. My husband ordered the lamb special and enjoyed it, my lo mein was a bit salty and with overcooked noodles. Dessert: Fried ice cream was a good novelty choice, moshi was as expected. Servings were plentiful, staff pleasant.

I came here with my father for a family visit over dinner. We both got apps and different curries for dinner. The food was quick and good. My only complaint was super minor, and it was just that the server could not tell us anything about the foreign beers that were available. Very small issue, I will eat there again.

The real thing. Right across from the college and great value without hoards of people - at least not yet. This review should put all Marist families on notice that this is worth looking for.

I always wanted to try Pad Mango and today had the opportunity for a nice lunch. There was no one else in the restaurant so we had the place to ourselves. The decor is very nice and the menu extensive. The meals come out on oversized plates and very pretty. Food is very good and the service is as well. We will definitely come back and try it at dinner time.

The Thai food was excellent. Our server was prompt and friendly and we enjoyed the eclectic decor. Note that it is somewhat hard to find and be careful with the traffic that doesn't seem to realize that others may be coming in or out to the "dead end" type of area.

Pad mango is located near St Francis hospital and Marist college. The food is very good, fresh ingredients and authentic Thai dishes. I had the pad Thai, spicy soup and toong thong. Delicious! Definitely a good spot for lunch and very close to many local attractions (walkway over the Hudson, locust grove etc..)

Very very vegetarian, vegan, and gluten sensitive in addition to meat. Extensive menu. This is authentic Thai, unlike Poughkeepsie's top rated Thai restaurant which is an offshoot of the Chan's chain. Order spicy and it is gently seasoned to provide power. Excellent service. I had the grilled tofu/eggplant dish and my wife ordered vegetarian duck pra krow. Wow! Pad Mango is on our regular list as of now.

I dined here a week back for an anniversary lunch. I read good reviews and have been to many Asian Fusion style places before. The good reviews are right for Pad Mango and I enthusiastically join them.
We tried Steamed Pork Buns and Vegetarian Curry Puffs for appetizers. The Puffs were of excellent flaky consistency and the Pork Buns were well steamed and to my surprise, the filling was not dry (I have experienced this in other Asian places where I have ordered steamed buns). Excellent taste for both dishes. The sauces supplied with the dishes complimented them well.
I also had the Kang Karee (Yellow curry and coconut milk with potato, onion, and scallion.) and Kauy Tiew Kee Mao ( Sautéed wide flat noodle with egg, basil, broccoli, onion, bell pepper, tomato, bamboo shoot, and napa cabbage in chili paste sauce with Chicken.) The main dishes were perfectly made and were given the proper amount of heat, when we asked for it. Portions were generous but not overbearing.
We also tried a Thai Iced Coffee. Delicious! It was an unexpected sweet treat.
As for service, it was efficient.
I highly recommend this place and will be back very soon.

Visited Pad Mango on a whim with my wife. The place is huge on the inside, and it looks like it's set up for parties. The service was good and very attentive, I ordered Tom Yum soup, which was just the right level of spiciness, and then I had to have the namesake, Pad Mango [part of a lunch special] with shrimp. That was good, and just the right amount of food.
I think we'd probably go back and try another dish on the menu sometime.
