The Bistro set in a strip mall and has shut out the traffic view with hand painted farm scenes. The pre-fix menu for restaurant week had a smoked trout tartine appetizer. I felt it was one of the best smoke trout, I had eaten. The small piece trout was served on grilled sourdough bread that had been covered with whipped... More

My wife and I ate dinner here tonight and were very happy with the food and service. Our waitress, Rachel, had an amazing memory for reciting the details of every special offered. Even when asked about menu listed offerings, she responded with helpful nuances. The food was served hot and finely prepared. Careful attention was given to my wife's braised... More

My daughter and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full. We ordered the tomato appetizer to share, Duck confit entrée and a pasta entrée. The tomato's were soft and mealy, dressing was tasteless. The duck tasted old and the pasta served with it were undercooked and hard. The other pasta dish wasn't any better,... More

What a wonderful surprise in a little strip mall! The food was amazing! We went there for Father's Day and we're still talking about it- everything was fresh, the owner/ chef came out to talk with us, and the decor is delightful, simple and elegant.

Located in an unassuming strip mall, this was a surprise find. Had a nice , though overpriced, dinner with friends. The restaurant was extremely warm and with the back door left open , we had to battle with a couple of annoying flies. I would like to try it again when the A/C is on or during cooler temps.

My husband and I drove right by this place many times not noticing it. It doesn't look as cute from the outside as it is on the inside. The service was good and our meals were large and prepared as we asked. But you must try the polenta fries for an appetizer.

I am a young professional with a good disposable income. (Single, no kids). So if I want to dine out I can. Owner? Made his way to every table except ours to inquire about our satisfaction. The beet salad was great! The restaurant itself is hard to find; nestled in a strip mall (next to a strip club) and would... More

We went there for their advertised happy hour, and after ordering 2 glasses of wine, the bartender told us it would be $22 because they were not honoring the happy hour because of a special event. It would have been nice to know that so we could have gone elsewhere.

My wife and I have been there several times and each time it's been a terrific culninary experience. Plus, the primary ingredients, whether meats, fish or vegetables is always 100% fresh. And cooked freshly. The kitchen is very accommodating and readily adapts menu items to customers' specific dietary needs. My wife has very specific restrictions. The owner, John, personally ensures... More

This is a gourmet eatery disguised as a remake, of a remake, of a remake. He sensually, the restaurant was decorated with fleamarket finds with no sense of same. However, If you can get beyond the tired leftover decor, you'll be in for a real gastronomical meal that will make you wish you had leftovers. I had a little time... More
