Brassiere 292 was an excellent choice for a date night. The ambiance was exactly as advertised and the service was prompt, prepared, productive and polite. I ordered the Duck Confit, for the first time in my life, and it’s safe to say the meat was...perfectly cooked. The lentils added additional flavor to the dish. My date ordered the shrimp Provençal and that was the better of the two meals that we had. Wow, what a dish it was. The shrimp pasta combination is undefeated and the additives brought it all together. We will definitely be going back to try other items on the menuMore

Definitely a big disappointment from the drinks to the apps . The dry aged sirloin steaks were just awful needed a saw to cut through. The mashed potato on the side Tasted like instant potatoes. Service was good. Definitely better places to eat for the...money it wasn’t cheap meal look elsewhereMore

We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint! The scallops were AMAZING and the coconut cake was delicious. Can't wait to try something new next time. Great wait staff too.

The service was very good. The food was just ok. Expected more. Very sad that lunch was super slow as well. They said they couldn’t serve us rolls due to the pandemic. Sort of an odd response considering they could have just tough out a...single roll on a plate vs a basket.More

I've visited several times, and fluctuate between the rabbit or duck, which are always very well prepared. Also one of the few spots around, who make a proper cocktail. Certainly recommend stopping in if you've never been.

Been here a number of times. Never seen the same waitstaff twice, and last time was especially inept. Uninspired french cooking at best, never again as good as in the first months when the place opened. I suppose if you tried everything on the menu...you might find something that you like. Last time I ordered omelette, frites, and wine, and they couldn't even get that right - frites were cold straight out of the kitchen. After much bumbling, excuses, bad food timing and only six tables for the waiter to work, I was pretty fed up considering it was a $100+ lunch. But voila! Surprise!! The check came instantly when requested.More

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We had such a bad experience for dinner last night we probably will never go back again. Looks like the staff was too busy for us. We seemed to be ignored which turned a simple dinner...into a 2 hour ordeal. We could never catch our waiters attention. Our food and drink orders were lost or never enetered and had to ask for it twice. By the time dessert came around we decidedd we had too much of being ignored and left. Probably won't ever go back again. Not the first such experience at this restaurant. Too bad. It used to be one of our favorites.More

Nice staff and pleasant atmosphere but every dish was in the “bad to mediocre” range. Lobster bisque was fishy and bland, the butchers steak was difficult to digest. The hamburger and the bacon/filet were quite good, but it wasn’t enough to salvage the dinner experience.

Really enjoy the bartender. Excellent selection of wine and spirits. Food always good (I visited 3x in past 2 months). Never disappointed. A passel of attentive waitstaff. Just ask and they will get it. Had a great steak one evening, duck another. Charlie does a...great job in the kitchen.More

Who knew? This is a find, if you savor French cooking. Well prepared, more than a trite menu Brasserie 292 offers some inventive tasty delights. Nice wine, also.
