Great Margaritas, great food and exceptional service. Just great. And they serve tamales, which are hard to get. Really good.
Went here with friends for lunch. I had the Chimichanga, friends had tacos and enchiladas. Food quality was good...and prices weren’t bad (compared to Westchester). Complimentary taco chips and Salsa included.
The food was ..meh,,okay. The big old house in the country is a nice venue, if not very high end. The bar had an "Applebees on a Friday" vibe. The salsa was good, as was the sangria. As others have said, the service was clueless...and disorganized. My meal was slightly mixed up, beef instead of chicken, and they brought us someone else's drinks.More
Went to have a birthday dinner with friends. Food was good, but service was extremely poor. The meals were mixed up and you have to ask for cheese. ON MEXICAN REALLY. The creamer was soured and curled. The staff was not friendly and unprepared for...any kind of crowd. Go for the bar but pass for the sit down.More
I was totally in the mood for Mexican food and since this isn't far from us, we decided to give it a try. We went on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is pretty cool. They had a duo playing live music. The chips and salsa...on the table were delicious. So, I ordered a combo of Enchilada Suiza and a Chimichanga. When it came out, it looked great and I immediately started eating when the server came over and said they gave me the wrong meal. I had already started eating it and I'm telling you, it was what I ordered. They took my plate away and put it on someone else's table and I had to tell the girl I ate off it already. So we sat there for a minute. They bring me out a plate with 2 enchiladas on it filled with steak. It was NOT what I ordered at all, but I decided to eat it because it looked pretty good and it was. Then on Saturday nights, they bring you free dessert which was a small slice of cheesecake which was delicious. The server came back to the table to pick up the plates and promptly dropped both plates on the floor. We got the check and sat there for another 15 mins waiting for someone to take the check with the credit card and finally went up to the bar to pay. In spite of the server issues, I still put a 20% tip on the bill and when they charged my card, they only charged for the actual bill. No tip. In summary, the food was really good, but the service needs some work. I'll give them another try.More
We enjoyed this place so much! The food was delicious and the cocktails were also. I had their sangria and it was the best I ever had. If you go Saturday night, they have an awesome guitar player at the Salt Point Tpke location.
This is a fairly new restaurant (about a year) near my friend's house. I read the previous reviews, which were mixed. We decided to give it a try and it was well worth it. The previous low scoring reviews dinged them on service. Well, that...seems to have been corrected. We were seated promptly and our drink orders taken within 5 minutes. By the way, the house Margarita is quite good. A small chips and salsa soon followed. Lots of other Mexican restaurants serve big bowls of chips, but I find them too filling and appreciated the smaller portion. It was just right for 2. Our waiter was a very pleasant young man. He was knowledgeable about the items on the menu. I ordered steak fajitas. They came sizzling and were accompanied with guacamole, cheese, rice, and sour cream. Unlike many other fajitas I have had, this was mostly steak and a moderate amount of onions, instead of mostly onions. The tortillas were fresh and tasty. Received 4 instead of the usual 3. My friend ordered shrimp tacos and she said they were delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.More
A nice little spot to grab some great margaritas, sangria, food on a date night ! Nice portions , well priced . Nice atmosphere to dawdle over a meal ...
Very quiet comfortable atmosphere. Food was very good. Tamales as appetizer was delicious. We went for dinner and the servings were plenty. Apple Churros are to die for. Definitely will be eating there again.
We went with 3 other couples on a Sunday afternoon and had a very good meal. The waitress was very attentive and the chef came out to check on our meals and see that we were satisfied. All of us had different items and were...very satisfied with our meals. The bar drinks were made well and the atmosphere was nice. It's an old building that has been prior restaurants and they have done a nice job re-decorating.More
We decided to try this place as our anniversary dinner. Boy was I surprised... I've heard some good things about this restaurant and I was so disappointed. Their menu didn't have a good selection. We wanted a quesadilla for an appetizer, they only had it...as an entree. No burritos on the menu. The complimentary tortilla chips on the table are grocery store quality. They offered you a complimentary "salad bar", which is just lettuce and tomatoes set up on a vacant table in the room. The waitstaff was slow to non existent and one waitress was hiding in the corner on her phone. The whole experience was just very weird and bad. I don't give them 6 months if they don't get their act together.More
we have only eaten here once, and the food was good, we was the only ones in the restaurant at the time, i have no complaints, would like to try a second time
Love their food was great every time love the shrimp cooked to perfection reallygreat for a date Or family and friends staff friendly
The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I'm not sure but I think that all fresh ingredients are used. I had an ice cream dessert that 4 of us shared. Unusual and delicious.
