Grab coffee or a quick meal here - nothing special but there aren't many choices locally. So a lot of locals go here.

After admitting they dropped our plates of food in the kitchen, the pork chops were well undercooked, the fries were cold, and what lakes like peas tasted like crap. After all this, we got a free dessert, which was burnt. Good luck staying open.

We stopped here because of their enormous parking lot. Wow, did we win. Our lunch here was wonderful and not expensive. Service was A+. No breakfast after 11 AM. Place is right off of the interstate.

We stopped at the Black Bear Restaurant the other as we traveled down the Northway. We had the turkey dinner special which was solidly good. It was a great value. Our server was very friendly and nice.

It's ok. Food would be better if it came out hot. Not sure what their plans are. Service slow and place is a bit rundown. Prices are right. Ate dinner here once and breakfast twice. I would go back. My wife? Probably not.

Quiet place to have a quick meal on the road. We just came back from a snowshoeing ride and it was the perfect place to stop and eat a bite quietly.

I can easily understand how the Black Bear could get just 2 stars from someone or possibly even 4 stars from someone else. It depends on what you are looking for when you come in here. But whether you’re a biker, a hiker, a leaf...More
