Best known as a great bar and restaurant serving burgers, steaks, seafood and great variety of beers. Service great, too.

I have not been to the Erie Hotel in a few years. My young son and I decided to stop in for a Friday night dinner. The place was crowded so I had high hopes it was also be good. I often have to remind myself that the demographics of this part of NY and adjoining PA are often parochial... More

Really the only consistently good and nice place to eat in Port Jervis. I love this place for a business lunch. The bushwacker is my favorite. Burgers are great. Dinner gets a little pricier and lower value, but still solid. They do charge for fries which is annoying and the seats in the booths are rock hard but worth the... More

The city of Port Jervis was once a prosperous area where folks could earn a good living and raise a family. The railroads brought much commerce through the area and served manufacturing and related jobs...As with many older cities when the railroads diminished so did the city...But not before many beautiful buildings sprouted up everywhere. The Erie Hotel is an... More

We eat here every now and then and have always been happy with our meal. The mussels marinara are really good here. There is tons of great local historical photos and memorabilia on the walls and the service is very good.

I took my adult children there for Christmas Eve. The blackened shark was overcooked, the Fettucini and broccoli in cream sauce was watery, the stuffed filet was tasteless, and the mixed appetizers (tray of mozzarella sticks, fried onions & potato skins) must have been sitting for a while because the cheese was hard on top and the mozz sticks not... We were there on wings night and the restaurant was crowded and full of chattering. The service was good and the waitress was very accommodating even though she was quite busy. We ordered the shrimp scampi. It was served with vegetables and potato. It was good but not spectacular. For dessert, our waitress recommended the ammaretto cheese cake. It was... More

We recently had our End-of-the-Year Party at the Erie Trackside Manor. It was great!!! The food was well-prepared and delicious, the staff was very accommodating and running our event was so much easier because of the help we received. The facility is beautiful as well. Highly recommend!!!

We found this after driving around for a while. The town is kind of quaint. This is a hotel and restaurant. The diners were most locals. It was an ok place to eat, but nothing out of the ordinary. We just wanted to eat and get back on the road.
